In opinion...S700i sound quality isn;t that good. i m using K700i...i found tat even K700i sound quality is much better than S700i. i really feeling like wan to get a Z800...although its camera only 1.3 Mega pixel

This's got to be better fone,compares with the V802(V800 unlocked+using Z800 softwares),I had mine from HK not long ago and now it started playing up...loosing reception/sim card not registered/call dropped/...etc
So I think the Z800 is far better and than you don't have to go through a lot of hassle unlocking it and get it to work the way we wanted it to be.If you're thinking of getting the V800 or V802,you better wait another few months to get the Z800 and have hassle-free phone(unless you live in Japan and somewhere which support 3G).
1 more thing,I think the Z800 is far much better than S700i in size/function/price/....as we all know now phones are getting smaller&smarter and won't be long we will need phones that can support 3G.

Well S700i have the same screen. It's not that screen that makes the pictures in the screen looks better, it's the difference between S700i's CCD camera compared to that of the CMOS camera on the Z800. The pictures are clearer on the S700i, however, in terms of functionality, the Z800 has way more functions than that of the S700i. S700i is as huge as a brick... while phones are supposed to get smaller and smaller.. anyways.. they're both good phones though, depends on u'r own interests.

But S700i has a high resolution screen.Image quality must be better than Z800.

When can I start enjoying Japanese input/output on SE mobilephones? O2xdaII is too big and irritate me when using as phone.

I just got a v802se from japan and it's using the z800 software. The screen is crystal clear... but has anybody tried taking pictures in darkness with the flash on? does it takes good pictures, or there is a lot of noise in the pictures? however, this phone is worth it.. I got it for 630cdn upgraded and everything.. or $3780hkd...

Got my V802 from HK last week,it's good fone,love it(it's V800 but unlocked+using Z800 soft wares+SE display on mainscreen....not Vodafones Red&grey display)&only cost HKD$4,200 included shipping).
I think Z800 is just a upgraded of V800(expected realeased day is 2nd Q/2005)...the only different is:different color housing with out Voda's Logo(scream+stripes)+ 64Mb memo card.

Does anyone know if it is possible to set your own message alert (like P900) on the z800/v800? And what about the amount of messages? Can it compete with the P900/P910?

Z800 is not even out yet, it is planning to come out in april, if you want time phone so bad you can alwasy get the v800 or v802, it is totally unlock now (just got one yesterday) and it can use chinese wording too, because the unlock version is using z800 software (i have question before buying the phone, but once i was using it, i can't belive it is using z800 software. o well this is HK for you, we solve all mobile phone problem.)

Ok k750, s700 and z800. if you can wait, then k750 is the best, because it have 2mp cam, memory duo support up to 2g, only this two point make this a winner, S700 is a great cam phone, but SE said they are using the same cam software as s700 on k750.
z800 (or should i said v800 or v802) is the best phone if you planning to use 3g network. also the cam is great too. 1.3mpixel, is good enough, also it support memory stick duo too (1g).
so as to sum up.
for the best is going to be k750i, but u have to wait for a little time.
S700 is best for photo.
Z800 is great for 3 g and it is a bit of all round player.
the final choose is up to u, but i just got a v800 and it is great, can't wait until k750 come out.
