At the moment, I'm using iPad-1 but I would like to move to Android OS tablet as I already feel bored using iOS. I have been using Android phone starting Xperia X10 and now using Xperia Arc and I find Android OS really great, more fun and interesting. What I like most with iOS is its quantity and quality of apps.

andi, 07 Feb 2012Hi Guys, below is a portion of Sony Tablet S review (ibnlive.in.com). As mentioned below, is i... more yeah it is true, but you can use the full sd card slot to transfer picture, videos and others media files to the phone except for application.
Hi Guys, below is a portion of Sony Tablet S review (ibnlive.in.com). As mentioned below, is it true that the SD card slot is not an expansion slot? Please read below: (I would appreciate your comments).
"On the left side of the device are a 3.5mm headphone jack and a fragile pull-out flap that hides a micro USB port and an SD card slot. Let me tell you that this is, technically, not an expansion slot that you might have expected. The slot is there to store and view data on the card and exchange media between the card and the tablet, but cannot be used to install and run apps"
jm, 07 Feb 2012yeah also in hongkong and singapore they have 3g modelsSo far, no 3G model also available in Saudi Arabia. But Sony center said they are expecting the 3G model in 2 to 3 months time as I am waiting for the 3G model. BTW, any idea guys if SONY is going to update their tablets from Honeycomb 3.2 to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0?
They have a 3G + wifi model, as well as just a wifi model. It's not available in North America for some reason. The UK sony store online has the 3G model for sale. Go to shop.sony.co.uk and you'll find it.
I understand this tablet does not support 3G technology... only WIFI connectivity. I looked it up at the SONY web page and the specifications of the tablet does not show 3G connectivity...

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2012I will say Ipad 2why do you think the iPad 2 is better?....
I like it a lot. The size seems just perfect. I really like the SD card slot. All the other manufacturers seem determined to completely ignore our requests for card slots or usb ports. But this is where I just dont get Sony. Dont most of their digital cameras still use their prophetary memory sticks? Seems they have just left their loyal Cybershot users high and dry. They know more people have SD cards. The memory stick guys now probably dont matter. They did it to me too. I bought their overpriced M2 cards back when their feature phones were still popular. Now I dont know what to do with them - not compatible with anything new. Typical Sony. They do make some nice stuff but they dont really care about the user.
I'm stuck between the sony and iPad tablets?.... which do you guys think I should get for brosing the net and storing pics and musicx?
