I bought this phone last week and it is superb! there is no lag in the performance whatsoever and it is smooth! camera and video quality is superb and the same goes for the sound quality. But i felt some discomfort with the capacitive touch keys at the bottom as they are nor very responsive at times but that does not matter at all. People should go for this product!! Its wonderful...you will be satisfied.

To unlock the bootloader, I recommend going to the developers website, and searching there, they are a great resource, and walk you through the process step by step, with images and all... I hope that is of assistance to you..

Anybody know unoficial way to unlock the bootloader of the AT&T version? Sony and AT&T Have decided to lock it and don't want to provide support. Anyone knows about the test point etc...? Please provide your help

my xperia ion shows only around 630 mb of RAM while the specification claims a GB of RAM

xperia ion is too weak on battery,
zoom camera is bad, no clear image,
samsung s4 is best camera clear image on zooming full.
xperia ion is bad now, Don't want to buy sony.

sony is always good at camera quality. But when camera zoom use, No clear image or video. No upgrade JellyBean till 2013 june. i feel Don't buy Sony mobile.
samsung s4 is (Best camera) too clear image and video in zooming.

still no jelly bean update. Sony cheated us. I bought this mobile because sony promised an update in may. But still no update. This is really sad for us. I can see samsung galaxy y running on jelly bean but this ion is still running on ics. Shame on you sony..shame on you..!

micro sim
bottom touch Button are very bad!! very weak touch (such as back button)
camera is 12mp but is very bad and full HD is a legend.
I am very sad from this buy

some of the reviews I have seen about this phone that they have poor battery life but I use battery doctor for this it worked I get about 3 day battery life.

someone can help me? im a little bit confuse bout this phone or xperia S, im actually have a xperia tx and i love this will be for a gift for my girl (who actually have and xperia arc), i read a lot bout xperia ion look nice n sexy specs are good i need to know how long is battery life, performance on ICS, cam, i hope can give some feedback , sorry for my english

for people how are getting a lot of problems with the battery and the hangs: xperia ion got an non removable battery which means that once you buy it you must put the sim card then charge it for 30 min. before the first power on and if you looked in the manual you will see it clearly so this is your fault not sony or any one's

I'm using it now writing this review first off and foremost. I love this phone, it has good life , the all HD is amazing, and the sound adjustments when listening is phenomenal. It has a good processor, plenty of ram, and is one of the toughest phones I've ever owned. I have dropped it on concrete a few times, other than a micro dent nothing has broken. Highly recommend this phone.
