I don't know why AT&T is not releasing this phone, HTC One X that was announced much later than Ion is ready for pre-order and Ion that was announces in January and there is no information about ION's release date. I hope AT&T don't do the same thing what they did to Xperia X10.

Anyone have any idea when this is being released? I believe 'Q2' was mentioned at CES, then nothing new.

> In reply to makdoomi @ 2012-04-17 13:16 from pu2E - click to readThere hasn't been concrete news about a release date yet. There isn't much difference between the Xperia S & the Ion, the Xperia S has better pixel density, can use up to 10 fingers for mulitouch, & bigger internal storage (32gb). The Ion is slightly bigger, can use LTE, has a microsd slot, ANT+ support, & has a bigger battery (1900 mAh).

Expected Release Date: May 2012

seems legit to me... could be holding up against rumored Galaxy S3 and HTC One X releases

I wish the flagship devices for AT&T were their best devices, they always flagship the like 3rd best phones. I'm holding out for this one, I just wish it was their new focus eater than the iPhone/lumia 900. I like to have a good phone WITH a wide support basis for once.

Until Sony says that they are releasing the Ion worldwide I won't believe it. I'm convinced At&t will release it alongside the HTC One X
