Until Sony says that they are releasing the Ion worldwide I won't believe it. I'm convinced At&t will release it alongside the HTC One X

I have a feeling that Sony is gonna release this phone alongside the htc one x, like they did with the nokia 900 & htc titan II.

ive had this phone since april 12th in the uk, its a fantastic piece of kit, an upgrade from my HTC HD2 Ported with android 2.3. The screen really does have to be seen to understand the clarity and sharpness it delivers, in comparison to a iphone 4s its like a CRT tv and a 1080p HD LED TV it really is that good, The camera is also another excellent touch by sony, no blurred shots and from the lock screen you can get a picture taken within 3 seconds without having to even unlock the phone.

I'm convinced this phone is coming out in may, I mean come on now its almost mid-april & still no release date or price. This is one of the two (the skyrocket hd being the other) smartphones that i've ever been excited about.

> In reply to Frankky phone 001 @ 2012-04-08 22:32 from 86gG - click to readExpected release date is 2nd quarter this year (Apr/May/Jun) so still within the time frame. If you are living in the US, then you are lucky as ION so far is for the US market (AT&T). SONY has no words as yet when exactly the international version will be available. I just hope Sony will use the S4 Krait 1.5GHz dual-core processor for their international version and higher capacity battery.

> In reply to ragieth @ 2012-04-07 07:41 from vxtm - click to readNo international version as yet and this one is just for the US market (AT&T). Once the international version (might be available later this year) of course it's compatible in the Philippines.
