battery life sux!!
way to go Sony none of your new phones support USA 3g t-mobile frequencies
I have been researching android smartphones for a while now. I have had a 3GS for about a year now and always thought I would stay with Apple but I'm amazed at what Android has to offer! I am impressed with the XPERIA ION. CES came at a great time since I'm due for an upgrade next month. It gave me more options to consider. Thank you Sony for breaking away and setting a course for a future with one focus in mind .... making high quality products for us to choose from and making them a part of our every day lives . The ION looks like a very well made and thought out product ! I look forward to seeing it in the stores so I can make my final decision!
i read this has a non removeable battery. anyone have any experience with these? do they make it through a day with heavy use?
Awesome specs.... Sony ion 'll blow all the phones waitng for it
this will be the most awesome phone in history
4 hours of battery life will take it no where...
Great specs but looks just too plain i really wasn't expecting this generic looking design from sony, i hold sony to a higher standard when it comes to design. (if it wasn't for the Xperia S being released along side this i might have had to rethink my position)
Come on, Sony. Why does this have a microSD slot & the sleeker Xperia S not have one? AT&T will put bloatware to clutter & slow the phone down.
4 hours talk time on 3G/LTE , has to be wrong !?
What a great specifications!!! ...... HATS OFF to SONY...
The design looks like a Motorola Triumph, awesome specs but too thick 10.8 mm and heavy 144 g, Hope this will help sony to gain market, even huwei and ZTE outsold SE last year even they had the best sexy designs,Sony have pulled off that heritage from this, the trend for SE was only that, Since we do have a spec race among manufacturers, and Sony comes last in spec race,This design won;t make this phone a killer, others will come with quad cores soon
Filmon, 12 Jan 2012Good Spec but unfortunately it is only available in US. Will it support SDXC card ? Few Draw... moreI think it will only be exclusive for AT&T for a period of time, then will be released for the rest of the world, of course speculation. But, I did see a video blog from the CES which shown this phone unbranded, which is a good indicator.
Amazing stats that will easily get Sony back to top on stay there for a while to come. However, I must comment on the battery stats, surely that is typo ja? If not then low numbers like that will really hurt it since there are other phones on market just as powerful but with much better battery performance. Come on Sony, dont not show your belly in this vicious fight!
so this mobile wont be availible anywhere other than us?? :(
Filmon, 12 Jan 2012Good Spec but unfortunately it is only available in US. Will it support SDXC card ? Few Draw... moreYes, probably it will support SDXC card up to 64 GB. The old GS2 can support a 64 GB of SDXC card, so this one why not? :)
this fone is monster......and its will be demonic when its upgrade to v4.0 ICS
Pls upgrade Document Editor too, thanks
beautifull, all sony tech on one phone. Nice play on Sony. Keep make.believe !
