I chose Xperia j. htc is good but u get everythng much cheaper and faster..yes faster than htc... in a lower cost..u even get sec cam..using 3g ph without sec cam is useless...xperia is a better choice...and anyways none gives hd recording..but camera quality u can even match here...its way better of xperia.. :)

i've purchased this phone just a few days back... and what i found is that the phone lags. it lags in some games like subway surfer. other wise it is value for money... !!

Dear friends i love xperia j. I saw some review videos of xperia j in youtube. They said that this phone is very laggy and sluggish. So im afraid of buying it. But here in gsm review some people mentioned that this is a good phone. Im totally confused. Im in a state of half minded.
Is this phone really laggy or not? Can i buy this?

I have one of these and it's not lagging at all if you know how to manage your applications and settings. It owns a Snapdragon S1 type processor one of the cutting edge processors from Qualcomm.. of course didn't expect an S4 in this price, it does the job really well and stable. Screen resolution is also awesome, I enjoy playing games, watching clips and short documentaries on it, reading pdf-s is nice. There is a little problem with images and pictures transferred from PC, the album loads some of them really hard or not at all sometimes. I recommend using other image view softwares. Supports almost all the latest Android based HD games. Automatic rotation of the screen is fast. Menu behavior and applications launching is very good.

I cant update my xperia j.from update centre...i have also installed the pc companion but when I click on the update button nothing comes up...can nyone help

Its a junk... do not buy it.. its worthless for this price.. touch problem started within 3 days of buying.. camera is good in daylight only....

Sony xperia j is a good phone.not laggy and is fast the back camera works well ,front camera just needs light .good design looks good .if looking for a new phone this is a contender
