All the cables are not compatible with it...You can see the discussion on this topic here:

> In reply to Dawood A @ 2012-08-13 17:02 from U{ML - click to readThe update procedure is not at all complicated. Just install PC Companion or Sony Update Service and follow the instructions. It is very easy to understand. Sony doesn't push major updates over the air...Minor updates are available OTA but for major updates like ICS, it is always recommended to update by connecting it to PC for the safety of your device.

> In reply to ronak1609 @ 2012-08-13 04:27 from 2@X{ - click to readthank u sir, I am definitely gonna get this phone. I got a hands on experience of this phone, very bright and beautiful. regarding the Ics update, some one told me that by connecting this phone to computer and updatin through it is very difficult, u have to turn off then press volume key it seems so hectic.

is there any other way to update? can it be done without any hassle?

i found that using the builtin power saver app does a great job in saving battery.

> In reply to mIkU @ 2012-08-13 10:01 from 7XaL - click to readYou can have many HD games at a time...This is because the app size is only 25-50MB...So, out of 2GB, only 25-50MB is used per game...All the other data is stored in the external memory...which in this case is the 11.2GB for multimedia.
On an average 0.5-1.5GB is taken by each game in the external memory...So, you can have 8-10 HD games at a times if you don't have a lot of music or movies stored in your phone.
About GTA, it has been ported to android and so you don't need any emulators to run it. Its available in the Play Store like any other game.

> In reply to kids @ 2012-08-09 18:06 from ftV7 - click to readyou can go for xperia p. SII screen is bigger but you will love xperia p experience - great premium look, smooth UI, great camera and after all "white magic technology" which you can't find in any other smart phones. SII is getting heat very quickly due to its plastic body. still confusion?, then plz go for a live demo for these two handsets then you will decide xperia p.

Wife has this phone, battery is rubbish, camera is poor, micro sim is a pain and all round i think this is a backwards step by Sony. I have the ARC S and it is better all round apart from the P having scratch proof glass.
The P is heavy and ugly, smaller screen than the Arc S.
I would stay well clear to be honest!

> In reply to Dawood A @ 2012-08-12 07:42 from U{IH - click to readXperia P's screen has 2 modes, Indoor and Outdoor...which it automatically changes according to the surrounding light in auto brightness mode...
Outdoor brightness is between 75-100% and indoor brightness is around 50-74%
But, its screen is twice as bright as other phones' screen so you will hardly need brightness more than 50%.
You can see this video for the proof:
http://youtu.be/jlXG1i1Tiyw
Xperia P at 50% brightness is brighter than Xperia Neo V at 100% brightness.
More brightness consumes a lot of battery and so I suggested keeping the brightness to below 50% as it will save the battery and the brightness will be on par with the maximum brightness of other phones.
