Anonymous, 18 Sep 2013this phone is playstation certified anybody tell me plzzzz ??????Nope.
As far as I now, only Xperia S (from NXT 2012 series) is PS certified, and probably some newer top-of-the-line model.
Playing PS games on smartphone is pain-in-the-a__ anyway.
RT, 17 Sep 2013it has adreno-205 gpu not mali-400 gpu and it also has sony 3d surround sound audio technology... moreThere are two white-papers on Sony official site, one from Feb 2012 named whitepaper_EN_lt22_xperia_p, and other from Apr 2012 named Xperia_P_WP_2. First one states (incorrectly) that GPU is Adreno 205, and other one stats that GPU is Mali-400. Since in both white-papers SoC is NovaThor U8500 it's clear that correct information is Mali-400 since only Mali-400 and PowerVR GPU's are used in NovaThor SoCs.
little john, 18 Sep 2013Maxym, are you sure about the phone doesn't need an anti virus? What if I plug the phone to se... moreYou don't need to be afraid of PC viruses on Android smartphone (what's virus for PC is worthless peace of code on Linux, OSX, or Android). Your smartphone can be infected only by malicious code for Android especially if you install programs from unauthorized sources (although sometimes it happens on Play Store too, but it's rare situation, and it's solved quickly).
Antivirus on Android phone effectively doesn't do anything useful, but works in background slowing down your phone, and wasting battery capacity for nothing.
As for the brightness of transparent strip icons, it happens because this strip is laminated (made of two separate peace of transparent plastic) and after some time it separates (showing some liquid, probably adhesive)and light from LED doesn't bounce as it's expected. It's common problem but can't be solved forever (it can be changed under warranty, but new strip will show same problem after some time.
my illumination bar cracked..and illumination light in home and options keys are dim...how can I replace it...?pls reply...it comes under warranty...?
maxym, 17 Sep 2013No need for antivirus on smartphone.Maxym, are you sure about the phone doesn't need an anti virus? What if I plug the phone to several PCs. Instead of my own PC?
And can you please give me a solution, LEDs in my transparent strip have different brightness. And I heard several people mentioned about the problem few months earlier, but I have noticed recently, that mine has the same problem.
RT, 17 Sep 2013it has adreno-205 gpu not mali-400 gpu and it also has sony 3d surround sound audio technology... moreNo it doesn't.
ST-Ericsson never used Adreno GPU. Snapdragon SoC uses Adreno, and Snapdragon was ST-Ericsson competition (not anymore since ST-Ericsson is out of production now.
Even Sony can make mistake sometimes.
