What does "scratch resistant" screen mean? And why do they apply screen protector (removable) at the factory? Is SONY so full of worries about their screen that they do so? When will they leard and finally go for Gorilla Glass?

so is gsmarena not producing a full review from sony's flagship model?? the new ipad came out which is almost identical to the old one par the retina display and a bit of extra weight yet it gets a 11/12 page full review, yet the newly form company of sony mobile that release's its flagship phone get a preview and a comparison with a pone we already know about the galaxy s2 but noo full review??

Just bought this phone 2 days ago and wow everything about this phone's resolution just blows your mind!!!! Awesome pixels! nice work done by the Bravia engine... much nicer then Samsung's AMOLED... I never like AMOLED screens as the colours produced seem so fake; bright but fake. BRAVIA produces natural and real colour! UI,clean no lags. Played the high graphic NVIDIA game called the Shadowgun without any lags! all in all..... awesome phone!

There's nothing wrong with a fixed battery, again, Apple sold millions and millions of their iPhones with fixed battery. If you don't like a phone with a fixed battery, don't buy or buy a Nokia to make your life easier (very childish opinion)!

Due to the battery comments here I think I will wait to see how the battery is once this phone runs ICS.

Not sure if people are reporting battery problems because their phone is new. Obviously you use your phone more when you are in new phone excitement mode, installing your favourite apps, learning the features and navigation and the battery has not gone through a few charges.

guys i said about the moto razr and i will said about this phone the battery is non removable this a big problem just imagine if the phone switched off automatically and the phone cant start or the battery cant work in this case i will say to u put the mobile in the hell

Xperia S isn't laggy coz it has a fantastic UI that looks great which is the Timescape and its not too heavy of a use on its 1GB RAM that's why it is fluid unlike HTC because Sense UI is such a heavy UI to use so HTC always lags. Samsung's Touchwiz UI is a light use for a 1GB RAM that's why samsung phones don't lag but, they have a boring UI.

Help!!!

Does anybody know how to disable the cell location notification in experia S?. I am getting the cell location notification message when I move.

got this phone today and working in phone industry i can say this phone is easily best on market. the screen quality is 2nd to none. and if you use it with a hd tv it is amazing with no pixle issues at all. in total an outstanding phone that im sure will meet anyones needs.
