You can get any security app that suits you from googleplay or you can do without and it will not diminish your phones performance. It's another battery drain if u keep it.
just bought this phone for a week. love it so much! it's one the best droids i have used so far.
For those of you still having problems with the three soft keys. Try a simple upward swipe.
For some reason Sony has not documented that these three keys can be touched or swiped.

andi, 04 Apr 2012Consuming my battery for my SXS a lot is not the Screen but the "Android System" as ... moreHow long does ur battery survives? Mine survives 15hrs connected all day to 3G (mostly 2G) surfing, chatting, fb...etc & sometimes WiFi when available plus music playing & a bunch of voice calls...thats satisfies me a lot cuz that means it can survive for much longer if I didn't. Use it like that. When android os is the most thing consumes ur battery that means that u don't Use anyyything that consumes ur battery except the minimal requirment & that's the OS. The battery use' shows u excatly which app did u use the most (even if its the screen) & for how long this how u can know excatly what consumes ur battery. But that doesn't. Mean that there's a hidden app or something consumes ur batt. Hope I could help

andi, 03 Apr 2012Hopefully a better battery life with ICS especially now that Sony mentioned an app called &quo... moreYes ICS reserves 340mb ram just for the OS (including running the home page). Devices like this with more than 512mb ram are certainly more attractive now.
andi, 04 Apr 2012Consuming my battery for my SXS a lot is not the Screen but the "Android System" as ... moreAny services you opened will increase battery usage by Android System, because it monitors the use of your VPN services, Account and Sync, data transfers, connectivities, phone status, Service menu, Settings, Audio effect, radio etc.
Look at the Samsung trolls downvoting everybody just to get back to Top 5 lol.
Consuming my battery for my SXS a lot is not the Screen but the "Android System" as indicated. Does it mean I have application installed sucking a lot of my battery performance? Any specific application to determine which apps you installed consuming most of your battery?
