i think that this is the best phones that had been by sony with higi quality spec n i am going to buy it thanks söny
maybe it doesn't have a memory card slot, but it has 32GB internal memory and no need to synchronise everything with i-tunes first. I want it, the specs are out of this world. I heard the price isn't too bad either, bout the same as the s2
will it release in this month or in march ??
and approx price ?
I love u sony ♥♥
Read it on xda forum. Two core cpu results in some 20% (at best 30) speed boost over single core. Well, i am not a techie, so most of their words were bouncers to me.
Anonymous, 23 Jan 2012No as a matter of fact the QCT Adreno 220 is stronger GPu than Mali 400 and atleast 2 times faster.I will still go for sgs2 cause 1) super amoled screen 2) micro sd card slot 3 ) divx and xvid support 4) hsdpa up to 21 mbps 5) gorilla glass by corning and 5) price in my country for sgs2 is only 28000rs and sony xperia s is priced at 38000rs diffrence of 10k and 8mp cam on sgs2 is also excellent thats why sgs2 is the greatest smartphone ever see even after 1year I am comparing it with this one and mali 400 is the best gpu just check the anandtech reviews for adrino 220 and mali400 it tops allmost every benchmark even against other gpus search google if u wud like and do not write anything without proof ur comment can misguide someone.
Nice one on the quad core stuff.@ RG.
It is sad that alot of ppl just want to feel or brag about how much cpu their gadgets have without even giving a thought on gains, especially power. Unfortunately that's what samsung and htc are feeding to alot of customers. I discovered alot of ppl really don't know the actual function or roles as well as benefits of certain specs on their phones. all they want is multiple cpu.
2ndly, most folks with hi-tech phones also have laptops, if you have 32gb of memory onboard you phone, isn't that enough. alot of ppl actually don't end up using more than, at most 20gb of memory. most multi media files would be streamed into laptops. moreover how many apps are you really going to have and actually use at any point in time?
Think about it y'all.
technology monster, 23 Jan 2012hey guys expert opinion please is it true that mali 400 gpu is stronger than andreno 220 gpu??... moreNo as a matter of fact the QCT Adreno 220 is stronger GPu than Mali 400 and atleast 2 times faster.
SonyInsider, 23 Jan 2012Mint will be called Xperia Z as the true flagship of Sony this 2012Let's hope so!
(otherwise they're going to get killed when all the other manufacturers announce their phones at MWC...)
TMach, 22 Jan 2012Heard of 50gb Cloud storage?????I certainly have...
The cost of accessing this via 3G is prohibitive at best...
And of course nothing (apart from screen brightness) sucks your battery more than connecting to 3G...
It's totally impractical for music, etc. maybe for the odd photo - but even a high-res picture is several MB - I'm genuinely not sure the effectiveness of cloud storage (unless for accessing at home / wifi) even if free - it depends on connection speeds / battery / time...
Unfortunately still massive fail...
Let's hope Hayabusa / Mint has a memory card slot... As I'm itching to manufacturers, but can't afford to compromise on something as basic as memory card storage...

Blu, 23 Jan 2012Can somebody Tell me if i should buy this phone or wait for a quad core?. is there really muc... moreMost people expect to recieve 4x performance from quad-core compared to single core, but the truth is that there will be no bigger gian than 2x. Dual-core already result 1,5x better performance compared to singl-core, so even theoretical difference isn`t that big. Also in everyday use there will be no real difference, cause most tasks will use one or two cores.
If we go further in details quad-core architecture have some issues, and because software will not be optimised as soon as next year that may lead to worse power efficiency, with no real-life performance gains.
But as I sad most people wants bigger and better and they don`t care that in real life they don`t recieve any gains.
