One X is from the Quad Core soldiers like the Samsung Galaxy SIII, so naturally the Xperia S/SL will be significantly lower priced (so it does not count as a plus for their side). Xperia S/SL are in the same league of the HTC One S which is priced at the same range of them.
I haven't used Xperia S/SL, but the One X battery easily gets you through the day with my average use:
+2 hours phone calls, full time 2 e-mail accounts on, 15-30 pictures, facebook, WhatsApp, and some music/angry birds during lunch break :-), web browsing over 3G/WiFi as may be available

I have used both phones but while holding sony gives more impression back lite is better on Sony as it uses LED picture is sharp on Sony, the best part is if you have sony bravia tv then this phone you can use as a media player because same sony tv remote works with this phone.

Frnds xperia sl is having inbuilt battery which cannot be removed is this type of phones are good ? What to do when handset get hanged? Thankx in advance

I purchased this 3 days ago when I initially decided to buy Galaxy Grand since the offers with it were great. But I changed my mind at the last minute after I saw that the Samsung Grand is quite delicate, does not support full HD and processor is not that impressive. I instead went for Sony Xperia SL....amazing phone!! No problems except with the updating which if not done properly can freeze your phone or bootlock it. But I'll get that update done later from the dealer in the near future. Limitations arethere - but every phone has them - internal memory of 32GB only (its a lot), fixed battery and no dual sim.
HD movies, games work smooth. Very stylish and turns heads.
