mogli bhai donot update sola to ics ..... sony has not yet released a bugfree ics update for xperia sola.
secondly there is no jelly bean update for xperia sola brother.

my cousin bought it and he is facing problems
network issue - major issue,
low loudspeaker
considering 1500 mah battery drains faster than sola(checked)..
and i also wanted to buy s adv before purchasing sola but sam stopped manufacturing it and every one said not to buy this phone or loose warranty...
so these are the flaws which made my mind to sola
if it is available in yr region then buy it

my sola is running smoother than s adv .
nfs most wanted runs more smooth in sola than s adv(checked)..

so its up to you.. go ahead

Do not buy this phone!...This is a complete disaster by the company... The touch on my phone completely stopped working after about 7 months...The company has taken my phone for servicing and it has been 2 months and i still have not gotten anything back. Trust me SONY service is the worst!!!

acc to ur concern
the best display is of xperia sola 265 ppi as u can see
and the mobile bravia engine.
i currently using sola.
all 3 phones are dual core
the ram is same of lumia and sola and 768 on s adv
the smoothest phone is wp8 lumia as its os is not heavy but lack of apps...

sola and s adv is same
both runs GB but sola comes with 4.0 update out and s adv still no jb or ics news..

camera is best on lumia... in night and video rec
sola's day photography is exeptional and rec is best but in night it has lot of grains in video.

for day time sola is good but at night and overall performer lumia wins..
lumia cnt be comparable with sola in day
s adv has no zoom and the camera is bad so stay away.
sola dsnt have front cam as dont need cam so i purchased it now if u want front cam go with 620.

and s adv is outdated phn now older than sola and yup its looks are boring
for looks sola wins

battery - sola 1320, s adv - 1500 but drains faster than sola, lumia- 1320 runs max than both.

overall
sola 7/10
pros: great performance, touch, looks, camera (in day), gameplay fluid, good bttery, good accsories provided (buy from flipkart and u will get xperia s headphones inside the box which costs around 1200)
cons: no frnt cam, 0.3 inch small screen than s adv and 0.1 small than 620, camera night time avg, usb on the go only in this phone, floating touch(after 4.0 update it works on entire ui), bravia engine stunning video playback 720p with quality , nfc only in this phn with tags.


lumia 620:
pros: good camera both frnt and rear, smooth processor, latest wp8, good bttery , good built quality.

cons: wp8 low apps and 3rd party apps dnt wrk , mostly paid apps.
slightly thick and heavy , looks are avg

s adv: pros- has very good features
supr amoled disp crisp than wp8
16 gb mem.
cons: GB outdated phone no official jb update, bad cam and bttery, call drop issues ntwrk problem, hangs quite often.

so, if u want perfect phone with all the good things go for lumia but not considering apps.
and if u dont want frnt cam but android go for sola
next good option than s adv .

Am planning to buy a new phone...had htc explorer earlier....thinking between xperia sola,galaxy advance and lumia 620...which one is better...not an app maniac...plz reply with advantages and disadvantages of each..are there any real deal breaker flaws in wp8?(like no file manager , xbox muxic problem )...main concerns are display quality,speaker performanece and battery life and camera...looking forward for ur replies

In the Wikipedia page of Xperia Sola it says " The ICS update removed the ability to record video with stereo sound. " Is it true?? Does anyone updated to ICS and faced this?

my phone suddenly turned off by itself.i tried with master reset,hardware reset(POWER + volume(+)) setting reset. now i'm not happy with my SONY XPERIA SOLA MT27i phone.....
