Am planning to buy a new phone...had htc explorer earlier....thinking between xperia sola,galaxy advance and lumia 620...which one is better...not an app maniac...plz reply with advantages and disadvantages of each..are there any real deal breaker flaws in wp8?(like no file manager , xbox muxic problem )...main concerns are display quality,speaker performanece and battery life and camera...looking forward for ur replies

In the Wikipedia page of Xperia Sola it says " The ICS update removed the ability to record video with stereo sound. " Is it true?? Does anyone updated to ICS and faced this?

my phone suddenly turned off by itself.i tried with master reset,hardware reset(POWER + volume(+)) setting reset. now i'm not happy with my SONY XPERIA SOLA MT27i phone.....

I have xperia Sola MT27i, i have problem with taking pictures. There is 3 options. When i set the phone for the third option.. "just by pressing camera button" .. i hear sound when pressing the button to take picture,but it doesnt take picture. First 2 options work fine.. Maybe i did' nt set sth good, or .. ? If somene had similar problem., please what should i do .. thanks ?

I have "MT27i XPERIA SOLA". And here s' the problem. When i want to take pictures there is 3 options to set the phone for taking pictures. First is: Screen button, 2. Touch recording. and 3. Just by pressing button of camera.. What worries me is that, when I set the phone for third option, it seems like button doesen't work.. there is a sound when taking a picture, but no picture.
Thinkig maybe i did n t set up sth wright, So, if somoene had this problem.. what should i do, please ..

The phone plays 720p videos flawlessly but for 1080p you should have MXplayer an should convert the video while copying to the phone. Even 1080p videos run without problem.

Even some 720p movies run pretty slow in my device (using MX PLAYER). Yesterday I was watching an animation film (resolution of 1280*696 frame rate: may be 23) it stucks time after time (sound goes fast movie run slow). it happened with most of 720p movies. So I'm afraid to buy Sola as it has same amount of RAM. What should I do?? please help me.

yes it does... and it does it very smoothly... i can even make it to play 1080...
you just need to get MX Player and Arm v7 codex and it will play it like a boss

xperia sola is of my view. sola 1Ghz dual core,DLNA & NFC supported, downloading speed 14.4Mbps, 3.7 inch display. but for xperia go 1Ghz single core processor, no DLNA & NFC,downloading speed 7.1Mbps, 3.5 inch display. so choose xperia sola.

Hi,

I own a Sola which I tried to root my device using oneclickroot application downloaded from www.oneclickroot.com.
But failed to root the device due to unknown reasons.
After that, my phones speaker got corrupted. Then I tried to flash and updated with ICS but speaker never rectified.
I understand that this definitely not a hardware issue but donno how to fix it?
Someone please advise how to fix this speaker sound quality issue....
