the price of tipo in the retaile shops in india will be higher than in the sites. Same happened in the case of htc explorer. So i think its price in retail shops will be above 10000 rupees. Expensive or worthy???

I got the phone, I should say no touch issue and It only lags sometimes if so many apps are open.Also I only click the apps once not many times to open it. Maybe what cnet review is version 4.0.3 . I got version 4.0.4 i Dont see any issue that others are saying. All I can say go for it worth your money. I will post another hands on if you want.

HTC always overprices it's handsets in India. Look at the Desire C having a meager 600MHZ processor and priced almost the same as the Live with Walkman. The initial price was close to the dual core Xperia U. The explorer should be priced around 7.5k and this one around 8.5.

After Sony's breakup from Ericsson , Sony have to prove their brand image by introducing new and affordable handsets. Sony does this job well by providing better cellphones than Samsung , Motorola , LG or HTC . Almost all of Sony's 2012 phones are having ICS . And ofcourse tipo an ics smartphone is much much better than galaxy Y(max.3hr battery packup). And also better than optimus l3 or HTC explorer.

Ok this tipo has been priced 1k above htc explorer on flipkart. So for 1k u get an 800mhz vs 600mhz cpu, 2.5gb vs 90mb memory,gingerbread vs ics and scratch resistant glass. Not a bad deal? huh. Well adding 1k more will get u xperia mini. think twice

tipo's price in india is 9500/- INR.. I personally think it's expensive better to go for htc explorer or xperia mini 10
