ccy1, 28 Dec 2012Hi, I'm seriously considering get Xperia U but the external memory is bothering me, how do u t... moreMost apps can install (or at least later be moved) to the main 4GB area, and apps (typically games) that download extra data tend to put it there even if the base app itself is stored in the 2GB. So it's not quite as much of a limitation as it may initially appear unless you already have the 4GB full of music, videos and photos.
Hi, I'm seriously considering get Xperia U but the external memory is bothering me, how do u tackle this drawback? i have read comment that can use usb stick/ pen drive, really work?
how about apps, only 2 Gb for app, is it very limited number of apps that we can use? (Im a new smart phone user, so not aware of how all these work)

m.r.k, 26 Dec 2012how is icsICS is great, just be careful of what version you're going to update. I'm using branded Croatian/Slovakian T-mobile version 6.1.1.C.1.0 of ICS and its awsome... even battery have longer life.
However 6.1.1.b.1.10 have wi-fi problem, and this bug is solved by Croatian firmwire. I cannot complain for nothing, great speed, increased ram, no lagging.
I think you gonna love it :)
