Honestly, i hate the front design of this phone, the speaker look so bad for me
it's X Compact , not XZ compact . I think it's reasonable move from SONY since their compact line have no competition anymore , mini's are gone so they don't have to put out a most impressive specs ...
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016X Compact IS better than the full sized X. Same processor. But X Compact has a much better a... moreI never said it wasn't better I just said it wasn't a successor to the x which it isn't
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016Well, the Z5 Compact isn't X Compact's rival. After all both are from Sony. So at this moment... moreBut there both on sale and the z5 compact is better and cheaper so will take people who would but the x compact there for it is a rival
Bradaz, 02 Sep 2016Actually it's the compact version of the x not the successor. And also how's it gonna sell if ... moreX Compact IS better than the full sized X.
But X Compact has a much better and improved camera, and the new design like the XZ.
Bradaz, 02 Sep 2016Yeah but there is competition, the z5 compact Well, the Z5 Compact isn't X Compact's rival. After all both are from Sony.
So at this moment X Compact has no rival.
I am so happy that I decided to wait for what I originally thought was going to be the z6 compact. It's nice to see that sony is done keeping up to date with the other flagships, especially considering it only is better in one aspect as both of its predecessors (3gb RAM vs 2gb) but tbh I'm going to stick with the z3 compact. Might as well upgrade to the z5c if anything... A less dated handset in my opinion.
Valanu, 02 Sep 2016The xz has that , x compaxt doesnt. But I do not understand why would you want to place your p... morethat problem could be coz they did not put the flaps cover well.sony already stated that 95% of the cases they had with their phone being damaged underwater was bcoz peoples did not cover the flaps well and water went insude it from the loosened flap cover so sony said people no to use their phones under water.its peoples fault not sony's.i can assure you that.i am using their phone and its better than s7 note 7 in waterproofing.i have tested it but if you dont close the flaps well then its your fault
Rgriy, 02 Sep 2016I dont see the special one from sony xperia x compact thats ip certificate for waterproof phon... moreThe xz has that , x compaxt doesnt. But I do not understand why would you want to place your phone underwater when several people reported on z5 that phone malfunctioned after being in water even if it had ip certification and tge warranty did not cover that water damage. I would not place the phone under water even if it was waterproof so I wont lose the warranty.
I dont see the special one from sony xperia x compact thats ip certificate for waterproof phone so is this xperia xc dont have waterproof function?
Bradaz, 02 Sep 2016Actually it's the compact version of the x not the successor. And also how's it gonna sell if ... moreHow is it going to sell ? Seriously are you comparing xperia x' sales which has a common size with many competitors to x compact which is the ONLY compact phone with nice specs on the market ( excluding maybe tge se but that is ios and front camera is poor ) ? Sony's target with this device are people that do not want huge ass phones and they are the ONLY android with a compact phobe so there is no competition , furthermore it will sell better than xperia x. Specs are good in my oppinion. The sd 652 is more than enough for that display. Lets just wait for battery, camera reviews and see if its worth it.
Tann Hauser, 02 Sep 2016If 450€.... Worth every euro. Amazing compact high class midranger. That Camera is...whoa!... moreGood points. I wouldn't even mind if they put the snapdragon 808 in it I just want 4K video capabilities
Tann Hauser, 02 Sep 2016Its Probably most uniquely beautiful phone on the planet ;-) Sony design is flawlessI agree but I would say it has one downfall. I hate were the flash is, would much prefer it under the camera and if they put the volume button in a more reachable place (on the other side of the phone)
