So, which Android OEM would you trust in terms of multitasking, app loading & OS optimization: Samsung with UFS storage but too many bloatware? Or Sony?
S3mm, 29 Apr 2017How is the multitasking and web browsing speed? Can you make a short reviewvery smooth and faster at all

Mkhateeeb123, 28 Apr 2017Yes it hasHow accurate is the double tap to wake? I read it has issues until a recent update from Sony but it still needs several attempts? And how good is the camera? The processing I've seen seems to be very bad full of noise once you zoom in.
I really wouldn't mind getting this phone to replace the S7 edge as my T-Mobile line. But it seems to have a couple glaring issues.
Even after the new update 7.1.1 the sound of the dial tone is still very low and not in the volume level of the same tone through the music player as well when playing a video movie with a mkv extension is significantly slower itching and finally Candy Crush three parts slow in the movement of graphics dramatically and these defects Continuing from the previous version of Android 7.0 and my new phone did not go on buying it for two weeks. When will I find solutions Sony
Gino76, 29 Apr 2017But which one determines the overall speed and performance of the device?
And does it help... moreIt does help id the storage is UFS like samsung in heavy app loading(like game) but simple app(like chrome, whatsapp, YouTube) is determined by how good the optimisation, you can see sony, iphone crush samsung in regular app opening but samsung tend to win in game(sometime iphone win cause we know how optimised game in ios)
In case of multitasking, the speed and capacity of RAM play role, to an extend that is, bigger RAM can keep more App, you can see how OnePlus 3T handle multitasking with 6GB RAM
But as always it comes down with optimisation, desite having 6GB RAM, OnePlus 3 tend to kill app aggressively in it ealy day until they updated it
While Sony have good RAM management it can keep many app and load it fast enough, while samsung had a delay in relaunching the app, and pixel, sometime need to reloading it despite having the same amount of RAM while iPhone i give it ro them for RAM management, they now their stuff, they had some Algorithms that can reduce the size allocated by a certain app in RAM without killing any app when more RAM space is needed, they relaunch app fast enough (not instantaneous as i mention before)
So the point is hardware play role in how das a phone is, but good hardware need a good software to go with, one can make an overkill spec, like SD835 chip+8GB RAM DDR4+720p screen(lower res=better performance)+5000mAh battery but if they put crap software the phone is literally crap

And does it help if a storage is UFS (like the ones on Samsung) or memory has a faster/newer clock speed (e.g. DDR4, etc.) or RAM is 4GB?
AnonD-257122, 25 Apr 2017Got 7.1.1 update today. How is the multitasking and web browsing speed? Can you make a short review
Gino76, 25 Apr 2017So, the said trick is baked into the software. Or is it because of the new thing called Apple ... moreRead/write from storage and read from RAM is different thing, the later is how fast the processor and optimised the app building and loading from the RAM is

Sony you should stopped the production of DUAL sim supported variants. I have used Z3 Duos, Z3+ Duos, Z5 Duos, and now XZ DUOS....but I have found same problem for all variants...talking one sim and fishing and immediately if I want to talk through another sim unfortunately it is not working...sometimes it can not restore the network before switching the phone...how funny a branded phone but their network capacity very poor...either Sony should stopped the dual sim variants or the have rethink about network capacity...I am really disappointed...

Kmaewe, 27 Apr 2017Help me confirm. For dual sim xperia xz.
Can i use dual sim with additional storage?
The re... moreDual sim variant has 64 GB storage but unfortunately you can only use one sim and microsd or dual sim without Microsd.
In my opinion (as I have 64GB Xperia X) you will get around 49 GB storage for additional apps so there is no need to use SD card at the moment.
Help me confirm. For dual sim xperia xz.
Can i use dual sim with additional storage?
The remarks is additional storage using second sim slot.
Thank you. Because im gonna buy it
