But guys two more inquiries :
first : isn't loading the device with extra software would affect the performance?I mean the RAM would be overloaded as well, right?and I just want the basics of the device.
second : do you think that resetting the software back to google play version of android would make it faster in performance than would it be if we keep the sony provided user interface ? I mean in the end am not much interested in software than I am in the device not hanging and lagging.....

> In reply to Jude @ 2014-10-03 13:14 from v{uH - click to readIt depends for regular user with 1h video 2h internet and 2h music it will give 2 day on android v 4.3 , 1 day on 4.4.2 and 1.5 day on 4.4.4 . And if you are advanced user you can increase upto 3 day with cpu underclocked . Remember that it is with new battery after 6 mönth the battery capacity decreases and the time also decrease all most by 30% . So over all for such high end phone it is good

You get more details in daylight and far more at night.
It's far better than the stock one.

> In reply to ghassannaser @ 2014-10-02 21:58 from 0C4f - click to readThere are minor lags in stock version but there are no lag in moon walker revolution 3 rom with hodor kernel (1735 overclocked) . I am using it . In wcdma mode i am getting download speed of 3.5 to 4 mbps with loaderdroid . The rom contain apps from xperia z2 , z3 so camera quality is much improved with cybershot , picture quality is more sharp with xperia z3 vived technology . Heavy games are runing smoothly . Speaker and headphone are very loud with crystal clear sound . I just want to tell you with these modification it is not exactly become the xperia z3 but at least it will give you taste of xperia z3 . Super fast go for it

Thanx alot Tim dude, I agree that z30 would be a great suggestion but Its price is abit higher than my budget.

Guys any opinions regarding Z's software ? Am using Iphone 4s currently and it was great till It started to get abit sluggish, thats why am looking for a smooth software mobile.and I was told that sony managed( more or less) to overcome androids software malfunctions.

I have the Z30 which is much under rated device but has one of the best battery life, best signal, best reception, best sound and of course best security out there. The screen key board is also better to use than an Android device. That said, I have always liked Sony and they are not full of bloatware like Samsung.

Dear Dudes :)
did you experience any lags, jags, delay stickiness or spontaneous restarting during your use of Xperia Z?
I am really not much of a gamer , my only use of the smartphone is the net( emails,whatsup,skype,...) and of corse the camera, and am considering the Z for its reasonable price, and I really get annoyed by laging and jaging during using the applications, could you please help me to decide ? Thanx

Does the 10.5.A.0.233 version of firmwire show any battery drain problem or any other problem?

> In reply to nik @ 2014-10-02 06:29 from XNHx - click to readI face same problem with my xperia z , it keep restarting . It is indeed battery problem . In starting phone will show different battery level it suddenly jump and drop battery level . Then it start restarting when turn mobile in online mode . Solution - till you do not buy new battery you can prevent phone from restarting by keep it connected to charger , so your phone is become a computer you have to keep in charge . And do not let your phone battery completely zero because it will not go further to sony symbol . And if possible use cm11 pacman rom there are less reboots in it

> In reply to 46VR9 @ 2014-10-02 08:20 from 9J7p - click to read1. There are only two models of Sony Xperia Z.
C6602 and C6603. The only difference between them is that C6603 is capable of 4G LTE and C6602 is only 3G.

2. The phone is waterproof. If you really love the phone then do not put it under water. This phone is first generation of Z series and it's water resistency is not as good as the latest Xperia Z3.

3. 4G (LTE) capability depends of your operator in your country. C6603 is 4G LTE, C6602 is only 3G.
