Also, install MX Player from the Play store, use that for all video stuff until you upgraded, and try to NOT use the Movies app or the default video player, see if that solves the problem. There were battery draining issues on early firmware due to the Mediaserver that is started by the Movies app. Restart your phone if you have used the Movies app, its the only thing that stops the Mediaserver from draining battery even after you closed the app.

My Z has no problem with battery draining, good battery life, Stamina mode is OFF and its always connected to HSPA/HSPA+ data when im out, and often even when im home (because H+ in our place is twice as fast as our home Wifi)

Personally I don't like the back of ZL, it's like too rough and still it feels like somewhat slippery, Z is much more comfortable to use. ZL has that IR thing though, I dont care about it but you may do.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-10-16 13:43 from IVNX - click to readI had Note 2 for a few months, it had ok battery and that's all, there's nothing good about it. Very bad display with outdated resolution, pixelated. The Z is in a different class for sure, no bloatware and handy size.

If you want a Note go for Note 3, the display clarity is insanely much better than N2 despite the N3 being Pentile, I have verified that with my own eyes. N2 is cheap for very good reasons, it simply sucks.

> In reply to Sam @ 2013-10-16 15:13 from t1$A - click to readNo, you need to root it for that. Anyway the free internal storage is 11.73GB, quite a lot more than for example Galaxy S4. If you keep data and media on the sd card it should not be a big problem unless you install all the big games you can find.
