Bedo, 07 Apr 2013i just tested my Z in the water .. after i dried it i noticed the sound of the speaker became ... moreno worry, the water just cover the sound speaker. wait till it dry out maybe in 30-60minutes. and the sound will come back alive again.
Aspros, 07 Apr 2013After using the Xperia for nearly a month now, i would like to make some proposions no future ... moreSome really good info there and tips..Have taken your comment and copied it for future reference.
[deleted post]Let's see which phone has better viewing angles after you used your Samsung in the rain. My nephew only answered a call from his mother in light rain and his brand new galaxy S2 was no more.
[deleted post]Xperia z is failed.
Ok then, which one is better ?
U mean galaxy s4.
[deleted post]I think your a troll, first of all I don't think you own an Z, 95% people who own the device first test it before buying. You dont have one, how sad
Why do people keep going on about viewing angles? when you write a text message or scrolling through your phone book - do you guys view the screen at 85' or something? It just doesnt make sense, even if its beside you and it alerts, you pick it up and view straight ahead.
I think unless you guys have extraterrestrial eyesight then viewing angles arent an issue whatsoever. Again, if you are interested in one you would go explore one before you buy, Phone is best example of project butter, smooth as anything.
Viewing angles are not an issue regardless how poor it is compared to competitors. Remember, its against competitors and not vs actual eye sight. It is clearly visible even across your desk. Common sense is, if it alerts or vibrates you would pick up the device and view it head on.
Enjoy guys. Sad trolls. I would never go to a samsung page if I have nothing positive to say. A jealous guy on here can be absolutely disgusting. XZ wins, if you dont like it then buy a S4 then.
[deleted post]Seems u r expertise in smartphones. Y not u start ur own website to review the phones.
[deleted post]Maybe u need to check ur eyes.... sure ur usen gorilla glasses
mangaa, 07 Apr 2013what is the defects of sony xperia z ?No defect. Only fan boys r trying to make their manufacturer best.
Wow...number one in both rankings? Kudos to Sony for an excellent job!
I've tried Opera Mini on my ZL and probably have to use a magnifying glass to see the UI and bookmarks. Somehow, the UI is terriblly small in the ZL.
I can't use Chrome for long with the ZL as the phone gets really hot for reasons unknown to me.
Dolphin seems to run well..
Z's daily interest has come back to 91% again. That must explain how impressive its performance is. That's enough haters.
After using the Xperia for nearly a month now, i would like to make some proposions no future and current Z owners:
-Forget Chrome, its the worst browser in Android.
Install Opera mini, to use if you have limited data consumtion over your internet data plan, this browser in the fastest in the market and downloads reduced data for the same usage.
But what is a must have is the Firefox browser, install this and the latest flash player apk and you have full flash player support in your Z, currently it is the only and the easiest way you can have to play flash content in your Z.
If you want subtitled films, just install the BSplayer and it wiil automatically find subs in your language.
If yoy want more options in the lockscrren, the free active lockscreen will do and matches well with the native Z UI.
Tweak the stamina app to your needs, you must only do it once and it does a huge difference.
It is also a great way of indirectly controlling some annoying notifications when you dont need them and have them exactly when you need them without any further tongling, than just activating the screen.
If you had the wireless bluetooth headset, or the wireless sphere speaker or even better the wireless charging dock, try to use them, instead of opening the ports of the phones, you might have noticed that every port has a small white bandage, this is too check humidity, the less you keep them open, the better!
Although your phone is waterproof and dustproof and scratch resistant, that doesnt mean that you have to abuse it.
Avoid all contact with salt water as this is the most harmfull to electronic devices.
Although your Z can survive where every other flagship cant follow, you still need to respect it!
Besides, it is aflagship after all, a considerable investment, by all standards, so whats important with that, is to last more.
This phone is so powefull that it will be able to handle every OS update, games and apps that will appear in the next 2 years at least.
Most of the mobiles phones dont handle heavy every day use for more than that.
The accumulated damage they collect, by drops, air humidity or other hazzards are taking an inevitabile toll.
If you wont your phone to last much, or be in a good condition when you switch it in a couple of years, you need to respect and then it will pay off!
If you intentionally put it on salt water from now, you are limiting its life expectance.
Just use a crystal clear screenprotector, or even better a full body front and rear protectors that dont add to its dimensions and dont compromise its premium feel.
The tampered glass is highly resistant, but with such a protector, it will remain as good as new, even after a couple of years of use and thats important as its premium feel wont go old, regardless the technological breakthrought that may come in the next years.
Just play it safe and you shall see that your Z , will look and feel more premium and fresh than lets say an S4, which will be absolete when the 5 hits the market...
