So I got my Z on launch day but have noticed that the audio when in a call is up and down, some times it's loud other times it's awfully quiet even on loud speaker. I have two dead pixels and my WiFi connection keeps dropping out even though it's fine on my iPhone, Mac and S3. I love the Z just gutted about these three issues :(

You can just check it out in the stores.
Even the black is very good, better Than AMoled type of screen. Look at the black levels from PSV better Than all AMoled screens, becouse PSV use a real OLED screen.
[deleted post]Then dont buy sony smartphone seriously. Btw now another 1 complaigning about viewing angle. it is not the dragontail fault its the tft lcd screen. I had xperia s and what I had saw at my corner scratch is bec. Of I coverd a exact fit in a camera bag. The ziper scratch it. and its my fault that hapend you should check why did your phone got scratch
[deleted post]Boy, will you please stop give here your stupid lies?
Xperia Z USE A DRAGONTRAIL GLASS!!!!!!
XPERIA T USE NOT A DRAGONTRAIL GLASS.
Sony always use screen protector over the screen, its standards even the phone has DRAGONTRAIL GLASS.
So stop with your lies please.
I bought my purple xperia z yesterday and was highly impressed with it.The only shortfall that i have to comment is the supposely scratch-resistant feature. My back camera lens have a fine scratch line after a few times in and out of my jeans and bag.Maybe it was a mistake on my part for not getting a backcase protector but with the scratch resistant feature, i thought otherwise.
i used to have samsung s3 and i enjoyed it so much.it was the best phone to me.until one day i had an accident at the beach.my s3 soaked in the seawater and couldnt be repaired.sometimes these things happened you couldnt do much about it.i wished i had a phone as good as s3 but could withstand water immersion.sony experia z really does the job. now i can enjoy active outdoor lifestlye without having to worry about phone so much.

...Full HD.??.we are not watching a TV ..we are looking at the hp screen with a mere 5" which make watching soccer like see ants running chasing round bits.....most brands claiming Full HD or HD quality but when you compare ,the different is not like a zealous "WOW !!!"...but a weak "huh".
The best Sony Design is still Xperia S if compare to this.
KRISH, 01 Mar 2013does this phone support network 3g video calling?Yes
It has full-hd front cam
Anonymous, 01 Mar 2013Would you mind give us detailed comparison why are you saying htc one is better??? I don't think you can compare HTC 1 to this.. HTC one is NOWHERE near in terms of camera and display quality. Furthermore, this phone is waterproof. Go for this phone. I just got my Xperia Z and I'm loving it.
Sony still struggling to beat galaxy S3 in 2013. Is it true that Bravia engine doesnt support while viewing web pages ? Poor audio quality for skype ??
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2013Some forum says its because of the wall paper cause sony used lot grey. Though it is not good ... moreTotally agree!
the screen will look washed out only if you keep the wallpaper that comes with the handset! I was really scared at the begining then when I changed the the wallpaper it looks fantastic ( grey colors will make it look wash out)...
Anonymous, 01 Mar 2013HTC's "beats audio" is a trash. There is nothing special about beats, just the name ... moreActualy it has hehe but.. If you analyzed it, it may only a equalizer in a fix setup. Cause htc one doesnt provide it. And sony does provide equaliser and customize it. I thnk sony is beter in terms of music quality.
Anonymous, 01 Mar 2013Just admit that the note 2 battery can be drained fast. I don't have an agenda to protect note... moreI did update it with the official firmware. I guess you don't know what rooting really means. And then I rooted it again.
Here's someone from the XDA Developers Forum on the Xperia Z who happens to have a Note II as well.
"I'm a hardcore user.. very crazy and always use it. Today I had almost 6h display on and I think it's awesome. My Note 2 provides 10 hours display-on but that is a different league. I'm satisfied! The battery needs to be charged by the way 5-6x to reach the full capacity. Incidentally the Snapdragon S4 Pro is the same as Snapdragon 600 officially confirmed by Qualcomm, just another name :D
Real Racing 3 is available since yesterday and the back is nice and warm when playing through the glass, it is super but not hot or uncomfortable :good:
I celebrate the Xperia Z :highfive:"
At least he's honest about how he can last 10 hours of screen-on time. You just need to keep telling yourself that the Note II sucks battery fast. And he gave the XZ a 6-hour screen-on time rating. This is probably 50% brightness. And then some report 4-5 hours of XZ screen usage, like Engadget.
No, I will not defend the Note II's color clipping in dark video scenes. There is clipping but not but not as bad as the pentile screen of the Note I. i just love the punchy eligibility against the daylight.
Given the screen of the XZ is full HD, giving you good privacy angles as some would like, waterproofed and thin - this will sell in millions with how popular it is in ratings. Yes, well worth your $993.
[deleted post]So?? You laughcause of that??? Because of the screen protector? I rather have that screen protector and if ever got scratch I can replaced. Atleast we have another protection

[deleted post]Hahahaha..! What a funny video! Sony put the low-end type of glass that needs a plastic sticker on the front and put the toughest type at the rear for the XZ!
Anonymous, 01 Mar 2013Puleease before teling us that htc, lg, samsung is better than sony. Give us why this is bette... moreDon't worry... One has a slightly better processor than Z... Nothin' else... As for screen, Z has two different screens , it seems... Like Japanese version has an awesome screen, I heard... So screen problem will be resolved pretty soon... In cam, One will get its ASS kicked by Z... Look out on internet for Z cam review from various sites... They're praising Z's cam... Even in blunty's review on youtube, Z broke ip-5 in night shoot & tied with it in day shoot... So one has nothing on Z... Z also has wonderful feature called water-proofing... So one is "nothing" compared to Z.. Go for it...!!!
Anonymous, 01 Mar 2013Puleease before teling us that htc, lg, samsung is better than sony. Give us why this is bette... moreGA's take on the HTC One'screen:
"The 300+ ppi screens of last year's flagships are pretty close to the limit, but the update to 400+ ppi isn't about individual pixels - even though it's pretty hard to see jagged edges on them, the 400+ ppi screens just look smoother. It's a subtle difference, but it's there. The difference between 441ppi and 469ppi on the other hand is not noticeable.
But there's more to the Super LCD3 screen on the One. HTC have been putting out some excellent screens recently and this one isn't an exception. The viewing angles are great, there's no shift in colors and only a slight contrast shift at extreme angles"
And a while lot more higher specs than the XZ. Makes you think why some actually spent almost $1K for the XZ.
