shinji kenny, 17 Jun 2014Wow! This is the phone I would like to buy. But the cons is the non-removable battery. Li-ion ... moreThat would be the xperia zr minus the ips. The screen is scratch proof but is tft. But viewing angles of this phone is better than z. Zr battery is removable. It is the closest u want
Phone perfect, super fast. Loudspeaker not that bad as people make it out to be and camera after playing around with it not bad at all.

yasmina94, 17 Jun 2014Should i buy Z1 compact or nexus 5?? help me guys plz Z1 compact is much better.
Wow! This is the phone I would like to buy. But the cons is the non-removable battery. Li-ion battery lasts only for 2-3 years so I guess you'l be forced to change phone when that happens. Anybody know if there are other models like this but with removable battery?
-Less than 5" display
_ IPS LCD scratch-resistant
Guys, I bought the Z1 compact today from my local shop...it seems to be performing perfectly fine so far.I'll let ya know if I face any problems, but I'm loving it now
z1 compact, 12 Jun 2014c'mon SONY Release a PREMIUM Z2 Compact, Premium ALL specially the external Speakers must be b... moreActually, I am quite impressed with z1c loudspeaker output volume. When buying it thought it s volume would be low due to gsm review....but the speaker is quite loud, no way I'll miss a call or sth. Earphone output volume takes a bit of setting though to make it perfect....
Call volume and quality also perfect...
About heating: heats up only when playing a resource heavy game ( but, there is no phone that doesnt heat on heavy usage).
Quality of photos...unbeliavable, especially night shots, none of that flash mentioned problem(must be isolated build problem...just return the phone if it does have flash bleed).
Lag? Never what so ever...
Battery...whoah! 2-3 days with custom usage, and I dont just do calls and sms...2-3% through night on standby...
All in all, after a week....10/10 rating
Never held in my hand a more premium phone that actually does everything it is intended excellent
