Anonymous, 03 Nov 2015Reset it first I encounter the same problem, sometimes resetting the phone is not the solution,.if you reset your phone and you encounter again the same problem, try to reprogram your phone..
hi guys, just want to let you know that after watching a you tube last two days ago. My phone is suddenly dead in the morning and can't reopen it. I used to do all to fix the problem, but know it still the same can't open and its still dead... my phone is carefully cared by myself. i have a samsung galaxy V and my son drop it twice... but still the phone he is using is alive and no broken glass... i really don't think that sony has this kind of products. The price of the z3 is 35K which i bought it last april 2014 versus the galazy V (last 2 years ago) which is 5K when i bought it..... dont go for Z3...
oh i also bought my son a Z3 when he graduated his high school his phone is being repaired and it cost 10,700.00 the coz of it is the LCD screen... repairs from sony centre for about 3 months... and dont have any idea if the repairs will last....
Anonymous, 03 Nov 2015Reset it first I have been experiencing similar problems with my Motorola android handset for sometime but now the problem is history. Most android/snartphones tend to misbehave because of the so many unnecessary applications that we tend to install in our phones. E.g; battery boosters, security applications and many others.
As someone has rightly said, the solution is to reset the phone to its original factory settings and there after, avoid downloading unnecessary applications. If some of those applications were important, the manufacture would have already installed them well in advance.
One of the best smartphones I've ever come across, 10 months & still rock solid in performance & build quality.

Because if it's used, the previous owner could have removed the foil on the front of the screen which protects the glass and keeps it together if the screen shatters. Some people remove it because they like the "clean" look (the foil also removes the Sony logo), and if they weren't careful with the removal, they also could have damaged the screen.
Anonymous, 02 Nov 2015Don't buy used phone. Buy new z3 or new and cheaper z2...May I know why? Hence, which one is worth to buy? Z2 or Z3? I want a phone with better performance, no lagging issues, extended battery life and physically strong haha.
I had a problem yesterday with ultra stamina mode. I left 5% of charge and noway to charge it for 1-2 hours. I wanted to keep this 5% with ultra stamina. But it said me something like "Charge must be at least 5% to use this mode for security reasons". I need this ultra stamina mode in these kind of situations, But it is saying me you have to have at least 5% of charge left! 10% is enough for me for 1-2 hours with limited usage, but i must keep these 5 smth percents for 1-2 hours! But system saying me you have to have something something!
What a dumb decision!
Please could anyone shed any light on a recurring problem I have with my Z3. A message keeps popping up continually sometimes that says "unfortunately Google Play services has stopped" or "Unfortuantely messaging has stopped" and this happens with other apps too but its getting more and more frequent and is becoming extremely annoying!it also keeps turning off! Does anyone know how to solve this......incidentally this is my 3rd Z3 as the 2 previous kept getting too hot and burning beneath the screen. Not having much luck with the Z3 so far.....

I had my Sony experia for about a month. My keyboard didn't work properly (especially the space bar) right from day one and initially I thought it was just me getting used to the phone. I bought a sony experia case from the sony store. I was sitting down and my phone was beside me when I got a text. I went to grab my phone and it fell 16" to the ground and shattered the screen (seriously, it sliced my husband finger open it cracked so bad in that short distance). I feel that my screen was defective from the get go because of the issues with the key board and the fact it shattered so easily. Customer support/sony experia contact center has had my phone for over 2 months and have been anything but helpful. They want me to pay $164.85+tax to get my phone back, basically claiming the physical damage is my fault not because it had a defective screen, and that the case is clearly just for looks not for protecting your phone. I would never recommend this phone to anyone based on this experience! Minus the spelling errors and run on sentances due to the defective key board the picture image was great and I enjoyed the bigger screen for the whole month I had it.
Stathis Scania, 01 Nov 2015Me too. I just said SE were fine on their times, that's past :P Sony is better than any Samsung or iPhone...

Hi! I want to replace my about-to-die Xperia Z and I would like to ask for opinions. Which one is better and worth the money? New Z2 or secondhand Z3? Bcs they seem to have similar price. Thank you in advance.
