DJV, 02 Jan 2015Hi,
I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were ... moreZ3 would be good if you prefer stock like experience added with value laden multimedia apps.
The Walkman app is a favorite amongst xperia users
i own a z2 and planning to upg to z3 by months pass. heating on the device is normal when gaming and internet browsing for 20-30mins or an hour, mine had 35-40 degrees but thats about it... keep in mind that glass and metal heats up faster than plastic, so i guess i cud not complain much more about... even done watching hd/full hd videos for 3hrs str8, but it didn't heat up that much, around 30-32 degrees to top it up.
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2015Which one should I get? Sony z3, HTC one m8 or s5?LG G2...u won't regret
DJV, 02 Jan 2015Hi, I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were ... moreYour friends are talking rubbish. I've used many WP handsets and of course you can attach photos etc to Gmail
darkraver, 02 Jan 2015I guess you are dependent on camera auto mode only, and do not know how to use manual, so yes,... moreAre you trying to say that there are modes in which you get fixed geometry or high details and working autofocus?
I doubt it... This can't happen with a piece of hardware whose only purpose was to state the 20.7MP (pretty unusable/unreachable in 16:9 or different settings) and the crappy software support in terms of the "superior (?!) auto" mode. I will shoot only within the dinosaurs' mode - at least nobody would look what was the purpose of the picture :)
Although I hated my previous phone (Samsung Galaxy SIII) I have never had such camera issues.
And yes, If I need high quality pictures, I use my EOS 700D and I perfectly know how to use it. With a phone with a dedicated camera button I just take device out of my pocket and snap. That's it. I would never bother with manual settings.
DJV, 02 Jan 2015Hi,
I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were ... moreI've been using Windows Phone for a couple of years now and really like the OS. However, Windows Phone does not allow you to enjoy the full Google experience because Google do not support the Windows Phone platform. That said, there after plenty of third party applications that fill the gap, where Google refuse to release an official application.
I have been a hardcore Android / Samsung user since 4 yrs now. My previous phones were galaxy y - 6 months, galaxy ace 7 months, galaxy s2 - till date.
I am looking for a change now and the confusion is between the 2 devices 1) XPERIA Z3 2) LUMIA 930.
I am kind of bored using the same OS AND SAMSUNG PHONES for years now and looking for a change, but my peers keep on telling me that I would not be able to move from Android to Windows OS as it is a frustrating experience. For eg, the GMAIL APP in Windows is useless and it cant attach documents/photos etc.
I really want to switch from those samsung devices and try something new maybe a xperia z3 or a lumia 930 but I expect atleast the basics from Windows OS. Please help me out on these confusions guys. Happy new year to you all
This phone has some camera, love taking pics with my Z3, no matter what the conditions are, brilliant!!

ISO level to 100-200.This should give better looking low light images. It does wonders for my Z1 but not sure if it works for Z3.
phone cannot even getting protected for small falls,z3 display break quicker than other xperia z series
I'm actually disappointed with all the reviews that I had read before buying this phone, including yours GSM Arena!
Phone is great in terms of design, build quality, battery life and functionality, but if you wanted to stay on top of reliability of your reviews, you should have destroyed Sony for the pathetic camera. There are no straight lines even within the pictures in your review and the "superior auto" mode is useless - I can get less than 10% usable indoor pictures: crashed colors, funny smoke effect not present in the room, missing flash way too often if there's a light source in the scene. Other modes (like normal) may provide good picture after 2-3 minutes of tuning and 2-3 tries. And image details are absolutely disappointing too even on day light.
So, Sony, this camera is complete rubbish! You should have known better (same valid for the reviewers here). It's too late to fix the wrong geometry with the camera, but at least go fix that superior auto mode!
