Ram, 23 Nov 2014Bought new Xperia Z3C. It has problem in sim card cover flap. Was loose and popping out itself... moreI don't know if you got a reply already or not, but for the seals pop out I found out that if you degrease them very well they will stay in for days instead of popping out every time in you pocket. But when I go in water I use clear tape to secure them properly... Sony has not made a good enough job with this seal design. Its quiet flimsy.
AnonD-111968, 21 Nov 2014Just an opinion, I believe the reason why for this FRAGILE screen is due to increased IP ratin... moreMaybe but it's fairly certain that the Glass on the
BACK is not,GG3 or Dragontrail, it's just ,,,,,glass.
Sony in.the FUTURE needs to use,GG4 on the Front and flexible glass on the back -NOT,a flexible back , just glass that is very flexible and thus , nearly shatterproof.
OR GG4, on both sides.
OR a ceramic baked glazed metal back.
Sony never failed my expectations. very nice handset, smooth, fast, good battery life, just what i wanted! you should buy it. z3 compact. i have the white one.
Cai Moules, 23 Nov 2014Anyone know when Android L is released for Sony devices? Thanksearly 2015
Ram, 23 Nov 2014Bought new Xperia Z3C. It has problem in sim card cover flap. Was loose and popping out itself... moreI've had the same issue as you, but after i bent a bit the flap cover's stick(tiny plastic stick that holds the flap cover between the port's hole and the flap cover), the flap cover was fixed.. you need to check if the stick aren't straight, make it straight, it worked for me.
SIM CARD PORT LOOSE:
Inside the port got a piece of paper can pull out, at the front of paper you need to fold it(FOLD TO SIM CARD THERE, JUST LIKE A L SHAPE) then your problem will be solve. Its doesn't the port problem, is the paper!!!
Anyone know when Android L is released for Sony devices?
Thanks

Ram, 23 Nov 2014Bought new Xperia Z3C. It has problem in sim card cover flap. Was loose and popping out itself... moreBetter buy charging dock.
Bought new Xperia Z3C. It has problem in sim card cover flap. Was loose and popping out itself. Then replaced it and new one also has the same problem.
Someone Please suggest.
I made a query regarding scratch proof/resistant glass from xperia care through online chat with the customer service representative. As we can see most of the specs shown on gsmarena epecially when it comes to sony xperia line are scratch resistant/proof, they dont specify whether what type of glass did they use. They concluded that it may be either in form Corning Glass and Dragon Trail Glass or other glass material around.
Any updates please about the pink spot issue on the camera? Anyway to get rid of that?
Just an opinion, I believe the reason why for this FRAGILE screen is due to increased IP rating. Everything else can stretched during the molding process-except for the glass that Sony uses-it exceeded the yield strength limit though it did not cracked the screen on the process but as temperature/pressure varies or some factors-triggered when it is on users hands then already exceeded yield strength eventually results in a crack screen-this is just theoretical opinion not bashing Sony. This might have been overlooked during simulations.
ad, 20 Nov 2014I completely agree with you. Even I do feel a 1080p would have been better, though the current... morei do agree with u
I got mine just yesterday I can't explain how much I love this phone. Small and very comfortable to use, extremely fast CPU, one of the best on the market. The display is fine, but nothing spectacular. The camera is very good too, but not better than the 13MP on the Lenovo K900 models.
The performance is just unbelievable fast. It also got 43K+ points on Antutu 5.3.
I really love this phone and I hope to use it for a couple of years at least.
I have it since one week now. Really perfect. No cracks or any issue. I just hate all the default app you can't remove that have a lot of permissions (Weather Widget for example is a fucking joke on that side). But except this paranoid problem, everything is perfect.
The battery is excellent. I manage to not charge it for 3 days in stamina mode (disable Data when the screen if off).
I even tried it under under water, in my pocket while bicking, or in cold weather (Canada here)... I recommand to buy a case though, you never know when you will let it fall.
Well, I have this phone almost 2 months. No cracks, no lags or whatever. Sound is loud enough, but compared with my old Htc M7, it's not so clear. Camera produces a little bluish photos in auto mode, but not bad at all. Results should be better if you play a little with camera settings.
Phone is extremly fast, battery lasts 2-3 days in my way of use (Mobile data are always on, Facebook, 2 Mail accounts, streaming music, 10-15 minutes of phone calls daily, without stamina mode).
Compared with Htc M7, display could be a little better.
Just one thing is strange to me. In contacts aplication, when entering any contact with letter higher than A, tapping back returns me again at the first contact on the list. I didn't notice that on other phones. My conclusion - 4/5
AnonD-330779, 20 Nov 2014Been using the phone for 2 weeks. NO cracks. Doesn't look like it's gonna crack anytime soon. ... moreI completely agree with you. Even I do feel a 1080p would have been better, though the current display is also very good but the pixels are visible when we look for it from too close distance. Build quality is excellent. Using it now for past 1 month
