z3compact user, 18 Jun 2015mehh... please stop about that self cracking stuff.... i'm not saying that you lie but i used ... moreno hes right, i bought the z2 and it did this as well. dont get me wrong, amazing phones, but the self cracking is a well known problem people should be aware of before purchase. luckily it can be fixed extremely easily and cheaply, but its a bad flaw nonetheless.
I've had mine for 6 months, first the top left corner of the front screen popped off and had to be repaired, only back from repair shop for 6 weeks and now huge cracking running across back screen. Not dropped and only possible reason is wearing it it an armband for running for the first time. Last Sony xperia screen died after 18months. Will never buy another. Disappointed
been using the phone for 4 months. performance is good. the only issue i'm having right now is the charging port cover, the one that you remove when you charge it? You notice there is a a rubber on the cover? mine is now loose armost tearing apart. sad
Great phone! The size is perfect for me. It is fast and the camera is really good. Best feature: it is water resistant! I can literally wash it if it gets dirty. I can take underwater pictures in the pool and I do not mind if I am riding my bike and it starts raining.
sebutsajaboim, 15 Jun 2015If i buy this phone today, would it be still wortht it? Does sony will release any compact soon?z 3 green z good
Performance are great after lollipop upgrade (even tho I miss some cool features from kit-kat), lollipop compare than kitkat kitkat android version z good because of missing from my z 3 compact some features but z 3 c(when i upgrade my z3 c) was really dead

I loved this phone, but now i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It takes great photos but has problem with focus, also it overheats very quickly. I cracked the back of my phone by dropping it from 5 cm distance. It is not normal. The battery was ok the first 5 months, now it lasts only one day, same as an iphone, i also have problems charging it :( . I can't exchange it in guarantee because of the cracked back :( ...i hope i will still be able to use it in the next half of year. Don't buy, really! I am a huge fan of sony! Just bought a mirrorless camera from them, but this phone has too many faults! Hoping to buy the new s6 edge, when possible.
I purchased my phone in feb2015 and today 18june 2015 the phone is dead. The phone does not switch on. Tried rebooting the phone, Charged it for few hours but no response from phone. I checked the sony xperia comments having the same problem. Sony should stop selling defective phones.
jgkeizer, 18 Jun 2015DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! Yes, this phone has a good battery life and it is waterproof. However,... moremehh... please stop about that self cracking stuff.... i'm not saying that you lie but i used this phone for 7 month now..no cracking issue at all.. and please don't stop others from buying this phone.. it is a great phone.. mine is a great phone.. afterall z3c is the best compact phone ever
DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!
Yes, this phone has a good battery life and it is waterproof. However, it has a fatal flaw: a self-cracking screen. This issue has been reported on various forums and website. Mine was three months old when it cracked during the night. Fine in the evening, a cracked screen in the morning. The cracks are really fine but unfortunately not merely an aesthetic issue; the touch screen isn't working anymore, rendering the whole phone inoperable. Sony is flat-out denying the issue. All issues with the screen are deemed user related and therefore not covered by warranty. Repairing the screen will cost an estimated $ 300 AUD ($ 250 US). Other users have reported self-cracking after the screen repair, so not worth the effort. Bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE (or rather from the entire z-line; the problem doesn't seem to be restricted to the Z3 Xperia compact).
derrp, 14 Jun 2015So should i buy Xperia z3c or m4 aqua? And does the z3c still have easily breaking glass or de... moreI own the Z3c since November last year. On paper they look pretty similar to me, and the m4 is almost half the price. I would go for the M4.
My z3c never had any problem. Self cracking seems like a hoax to me. Self heating issue too, but I don't play games. No dead pixels either. The only things I hate is defaults app you can't remove.
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2015I love my green z3 compact! Im just having a hard time looking for a case here in the PhilippinesCheck "my watches and more" in facebook, they have available cases for Z3c :)
I have a sony xperia z3 compact for about three months, this last month, my phone's battery started to run out quickly even without any feature such as bluetooth or wifi on.
I have this phone over 6 month and now I realy think I got defect unit. My z3c came without any problem which most people mentioned here. Performance are great after lollipop upgrade (even tho I miss some cool features from kit-kat), battery last more than 2 days now when I don't play any game and no heating or self cracking issue. And in july sony starts rolling L5.1 which I assume will be even better
