I ma facing wi-fi & hot spot problem in my zr... they stops working any time... & showing error of "Association rejected" when I try to connect them... Right now my zr wi-fi & hot spot are not working... I am fad-up with it... Do anybody has any good solution....???
Anas, 14 Mar 2014Yes, you are right that ZR is better than the SP (obviously!).. and I was just trying to convi... moreAgreed. Xperia SP beats every quadcore phone in it's price range in terms of performance and none can match it's CPU+GPU combination. Mediatek quadcores(MT6589, MT6589T, and MT6582) couldn't even match the SPs dual core CPU set up. If I didn't get the ZR I WOULD definitely have gotten the SP... It's the only phone that allows you to see notifications face up or face down. :)
Cristie, 13 Mar 2014So you ar using zr do you find any lag or other issues when using aps together? The only lag I noticed with my usage would be with Injustice GAU.If I didn't close it completely and played Clash of Clans, and didn't close it properly, then play Injustice again, sometimes animation level 3 supers would have a bit of lag. As with other apps, no lag in chrome, fb, walkman, album, camera and switching between those. It manages RAM pretty well. I always seem to see just 750 mb (of 1.89G)used.
Mr. anonymous, 07 Mar 2014Dude I own a ZR and my friend a SP. SP is shi*ty in multitasking, you open chrome and music t... moreYes, you are right that ZR is better than the SP (obviously!).. and I was just trying to convince the guy that it's not really a bad choice if you buy sp considering the price difference.. and no, the ZR doesn't really 'trash' the SP as SP has the advantage over games that utilize two cores.. (same gpu, higher clock, similar cores as ZR).. but yeah, in real world people have a lot of stuff opened in the background while gaming which means ZR will be much better in the real World (unless you play without many things in the background).. ZR does better multitasking and edges in daily tasks, yes, but that's not 'trashing'... and yeah sorry for the wrong impression on this phone, it does have more features than the sp and has better "overall" performance.. (all I was trying to do was convince people that SP isn't a bad choice if you look at price/performance you get with it) ..
Mr. anonymous, 10 Mar 2014I compared because the other guy(anas) said that the SP is better. I know that they have une... moreI never said it's 'better' overall.. All I was trying to was that SP IS NOT A BAD CHOICE CONSIDERING ITS PRICE (one guy in the comments was rtegretting for getting an sp instead of the zr).. Go for the ZR, its obviously better considering the twice amount of ram you have.. It's quad core, better multitasking.. The area where sp has an advantage is single thread and that too isn't a very big advantage, but it is an advantage.. also, the single thread with adreno 320 (same gpu as the ZR) it will be A LITTLE BIT SMOOTHER in the games... (generally speaking, games won;t use more than 2 cores).. but if you have both games and background apps open, the ZR will be better than the SP because it will handle the background better because it has 2 additional cores. But in case of SP, if you have more background apps open,. it will be slower.. but if you are playing very little background apps then the SP will slightly beat the ZR in games because games need cpu clock power and the sp has more.. (2 cores @ 1.7 vs 2 cores @ 1.5.. both with Adreno 320) ... The point may be a bit confusing, but overall if you look at the phone the ZR beats the SP in terms of specs and features..
Anyone who bought it from INDIA (Delhi), can tell me what you get in the box
I've heard that it has a spare battery as well in the box.
Let me know if it has.
Also what about the camera, if you compare with GSM arena camera compare tools .. it's rear camera is very bad. Xperia C got a better camera.
Help me here.
awesome devices, no lag, great cpu, nice screen and lastly you can played video smoothly...

Andok, 13 Mar 2014When we made the purchase, they actually said that extended warranty includes broken screens. ... moreScreens or top glass are entirely different from touch screen mechanism. Broken glass screen will be covered by warranty but again depending on their assessment, if it was cracked due to negligence , this voids their warranty.
SydPaul was right, they do not cover warranty on the touch screen mechanism display (tft).
Hope this helps.

I have not made a claim though as the unit is still working perfectly. Just to share, I ALWAYS use Transcend microSDs even in my Symbian days... My 512mb is still working perfectly, and if I found my 128mb, it will likely be still functional.:D
hy guys how much time xperia zr is taking to fully charge from 5% to 100%.
Anonymous, 12 Mar 2014You can't put the blame on Sony! They are doing a great job regarding design and performance..... moredo you use micro sd card for your zr? if yes, which brand and what capacity?

The warranty does not include the damage or malfunction of the touchscreen assembly. I have verified this with their manager in alabang.
The thing is they would create an impression of the full warranty of this upon demo and before purchases. They have disclaimer on this situations.
Pls do let us know if someone here had successfully claimed warranty on touch screen with sony stores or distributor shops here in manila.
Anonymous, 11 Mar 2014I'm not sure if this going to solve your ZR problem, but I have the Xperia L, & I'm facing... moreBy the way, im not using any other usb cable other than the one included in the box. And i only used it for charging the unit, no sync with laptops.
Memo Express/Sony xperia stores technicians told me that the repair of the touch screen assembly will cost me around 8000 to 9000 philippine pesos. Half of the cost of my unit.
After this unfortunate event, i Might as well get the LG G2.
Thanks for your advice though.
