Hi guys,

It's been 3 months since I bought this phone for 13250..
All n all, I'm happy with the phone given the price..

Pros :-
1)Value for money..
2)Big screen, good resolution..
3)1GB RAM and 1.2GHz dual core processor give fair performance.. Played NFS and worked well.. Didn't installed other heavy games yet..
4)3G, 2G works very well.. I used vodafone 3G for 2 months in Delhi.. Now using vodafone 2G in Bangalore (since vodafone is not offering 3G to new subscribers in Bangalore due to HC stay)
5)Back camera works good if the light is proper..
6)16GB internal memory (12GB avail to the user).. Must read the last section which explains abouth internal memory..
7)Didn't faced heating issue.. Battery is good enough..
8)Did 3 things simultaneously.. Playing NFS, talking over a call and charging.. Worked well for around 15-20 mins before it started getting heated, which, I guess is fine..

Cons:-

1) In dim light, dual leds doesn't works that good.. picture quality sucks in dim light.. Front camera doesn't justify 5mp tag.. In good light, it's alright though.

2)The volume of the speaker is pathetic.. If you like to play songs loud, this phone is definately not for you.. A big disappointment.. Although, sound quality on headphones is superb...

3)Sometimes, this phone behavies strangely... For example, (a) since today morning, WIFI is getting turned on automatically.. I turned it off several times, but get turned on automatically.. (b)When I connect it to a PC with the USB cable, somtimes, it appears that a ghost has got into the phone.. phone starts behaving as if somone is randomly touching the screen.. apps starts getting opened n closed.. wiered things I can't explain.. untill I unplug it from the system.. I guess this issue should be solved with the upgrade which I haven't done yet..

The Internal Memory Catch..

Although internal memory available to user is over 12GB, there is a catch. There are two memory spaces in this phone.. a)760MB (name :- internal storage) and b)12GB(name :- INTERNAL STORAGE).. yes, that's the difference in the name.. one in caps and one in small letters.. When I install any app, it gets installed in "internal storage" by default.. Then, I've to move it to "INTERNAL STORAGE".. Although, 760MB sounds small for installing apps.. but it works fairly well when combined with the feature of moving apps from one type of storage to another.. for ex:- the game "Vector" requires 50mb space to get installed.. When I moved it after installation, it consumed ~2.5mb in "internal storage" and around 50mb in "INTERNAL STORAGE"..

All and All, as I'm satisfied with the phone.. The best feature for me is it doesn't hangs in day to day applications.. and with a price tag of 13k, I'm happy with it...

I have used this phone from last 4 months, initially it was good but gradually many problems arises like... not charging, always battery shows down, and now the ring tone is gone . altough camera is 8MP but picture clarity is not good atall, en evening you cant shoot . Its a very bad experience i have ever had with this phone. My 14000 rupees is gone and felt very bad. Can any one help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

guyz deres a big problm in dis smartphone... it provides 3g netwrk on 2100 mhz only.... so users like me who are living far from township area cant enjoy 3g... except bsnl 3g or sometimes airtel 3g...i m facing dis problm from the very first day when i purchased dis fone...it sucks man !!! when i m investing around 14k on spice so why shouldnt i add some more money n go for samsung galaxy s2 or grand or simply s advance...
thats why its always said that samsung is samsung...n spice will always be spice..its cheepo yaar !!

I think it will be updated to 4.2 in near future. Go for mi535 model if you want a phone with 4.2 as the price difference is not much and it is quad core.

There is no jelly bean 4.2 update available. Do not be fooled by people who misguide. I received an email from spice people saying that presently it is not available.

I bought this phone on 10-03-2013, im quit satisfied!
I liked-
display, front and rear cam, storage capacity, touch, OTG connevtivity

I didnt liked-
battery, heating up, heavy,

i hav accidently dropped this phone 3-4 times from height of 5-6 feets, thank God its working fine.

Its got less ppi(208),ph gets heats up(very much) when u play hdgams for quite some tym with out any intrval say for 30-40min..it is very heavy(196gm)...its got only 5 point multi touch...and main issue of concrn is how this ph is going to work aftr an year(generally phs with good specs n cheap price work abnormally aftr an year of usage)!
Bt still I will say that this is a good ph considering the price range it is placed in!
If u r looking for a big ph go for it...if u want a ph which should last for much tym with good specs in same price range go check samsung galaxy s advance i19070
