> In reply to balaji @ 2009-12-10 13:00 from ijKf - click to readi am using 6.5 because the dialing in 6.5 is very efficient. it starts to inclusive search as soon as i type while 6.1 does not use the abc search mode when i type on the keypad.

> In reply to Dpsailo @ 2009-12-04 18:05 from utub - click to readHi, I am using i120. Excellent phone. I have done all the research on this. Finding excellent. Also tried 6.5. But as the display is small, 6.5 is not convenient. using 6.1 now. Pls remember, this phone has analog tuner for TV. Hence digital antenna will not work perfectly (bought digital antenna and I am getting only doordharshan (only one channel). But this antenna is useful for FM radio, as FM needs digital antenna. let me know anyone needs any assistance on this....balaji from chennai

Is it worth getting the antenna shown in the picture? It is quite expensive, so I want to be sure before I buy it. Or should I use any other external Antenna instead?

> In reply to acb @ 2009-10-09 09:58 from 2S}v - click to readBetter not buy this phone now..
BSNL has introduced 3G and this phone has no 3G.. So please go for the model with 3G..

If you want to use GPS and like the accelerometer, better go for a higher version... eBay India has many phones of Gigabyte listed...

You can get a good model for 9k...

Please switch the phone Off and turn it On after you insert the memory card..

> In reply to sreedhar @ 2009-11-05 08:05 from vGmn - click to readWell you dont lock the phone with the Lock/Unlock on Today Screen.. If possible remove the unlock option using the Today Screen Editor..

For locking/unlocking the phone, you can use Switch On/Off button.. Just Press it like a Single click.. The screen will get switched off and acts like its locked..
Press it again to switch the screen On..

But the problem is the screen will get On if you get any Msg or call.. that time its a bit problem..

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-11-09 14:19 from vGjQ - click to readIf u enter the Settings manually without the wizard, you can access internet easily..

1) You write down all the data the service provider gives.
2) You check what all the inputs the phone asks for setting up internet connection..
3) Get other data and use it...

My phone is working with Reliance GPRS..

My handset was bought in Malaysia as a present from my friend. The phone was working with my BSNL and Bharti Airtel numbers. The only thing is i couldnt dial or send msgs since the screen was locked and i couldnt unlock it the normal/usual way. Eventually, I did a system reset by pressing the flag and ok key together while switching on the device.
But now, the phone hangs at 'align screen' and i just cannot get past that. What could possibly be wrong? Is there any way it can be rectified?
Thanx
