Its a good phone to connect it to your PC using the the cable you have to make sure the drivers are propelly copied. To do that uninstall your LG files including the hardware from the system-devices and download the U8110_UK_1 folder from http://www.nodevice.es/driver/...et41551.html
or from another site. Unzipped and write down the folder location in your HD . Then conect the phone to the PC and when you are told that new hardware has been found start installing the four drivers to your PC every time it ask you.
