this phone is very durable.. i have been keeping mine for the past 7 years and it still amazes me on how strong the phone is... a lot of high tech phones are now available in the market but i havent seen one that surpasses the strength.. no matter what phone i'll have in the future i will keep this one as remebrance of how good motorola is producing quality phones

what to say about this phone it's my true companion from last 5 years and still stand tall.
dropped too many times even in water but it still working and working better than any other phone now available. Battery is jus awesome it last for almost 2 days without charging even after 5 years of usage. Many time i think to purchase any new phone but this phone is not allowing me. hats off to moto for this great mobile phone. Love u moto

there's a light sensor on this device... its at the top, embedded in the ear piece area... accidentally discovered it when using a tool to enable/disable some features in its os... the light sensor controls the keyboard backlight - you may have noticed it turns off randomly - it actually turns off when the light sensor is exposed to bright light conditions and turns back on when insufficient light is registered on the sensor...
awesome feature for a cheap old phone manufactured years ago... wish it performed faster though! gonna find firmware hack for tat...

i am using moto slvr L7i for almost 4 years....great mobile by motorola. no complaint.... its just amazing. best mobile of its time.

Durability?...............guess what! for 3 days i thought i lost..........coz i left it on my terrace.
when i found it was still working......
MIRACLE MIRACLE!!!!
i climbed down my terrace coz it started to rain.....i forgot to pick
and it rained for 3 continuous days !!!!
nothing went wrong with it......i only had to blow dry ...it GOT IT BACK ON ITS FEEEEETS!!!
HEY do not try this and never on other phone!

This is the best (most reliable) phone I had ever owned. The battery life is extremely great but unfortunately it fell and the screen cracked.

Motorola l7. Is having some problem which i can't understand, at first is started with battery i got a new battery and from that day till date. It's off and on, that is all i get from the phone.

Third party apps can't access files on this phone.
You can enable this option by flashing it with EXTREMOTO V2.0
I think this is the best monster pack for this phone.
There are many new features added on this monster pack includsing file connection (JSR 75) in java app.
If you want to do so you have to do followings:
Register on modmymoto.com
log in your your account.
Download "EXTREMOTO V2.0" from this site.
Extract the downloaded file using WinRAR.
See there is a link how to remove RSA.
Go to this link.
Do the work listed in the page.
After successfully removing RSA flash the phone with "Dual Boot 4.0".
Then flash it with "Extremoto 20.shx.
And it's done.
You have successfully modded your Moto.
