Although while using initially I had disliked it, after using it, I was amazed on how it performed. The photos taken by its camera is just overwhelming- Just like a pro taking shots with a DSLR. I would say, no other phone, whatsoever comes close in terms of camera. Even though it lacks a bit in display size and OS while comparing with Samsungs etc, It well makes up in performace. The phone is also sturdy. Great work. Just love this phone even though it has simple looks and and outdated symbian OS.

"Swith your WLAN On" from tool bar, then go to

Settings > Connectivity > WLAN > "correct Password"

> In reply to marasinghe @ 2013-05-21 20:29 from IWTM - click to readThe best thing is to check all your connectivity settings as bellow:

Setting > Connectivity > Network > Network mode - GSM > Operator selection - Automatic

Setting > Connectivity > Settings > Mobile data - On > Allow mobile data usage - in home country/region

Setting > Connectivity > Admin. settings > Mobile data > Mobile data connection - When needed > Acces point - "browse in the net for your GSM provider's Access point, and then type it here"

Also check:
Have you updated your Nokia Store app to its lattest version ? If not, please do so.

Have you Sign in with Nokia Store with your User name and Password ? If not, please do so.

Try to use a strong WiFi connection, or packet data that has a good signal connection. Good luck Bro.

So true no other smartphone could last as long as N8 with a 1200mA battery inside the s4 would be dead in 1 hour.So if N8 had 1500mA BP-4L thats in my E72 N8 would be good for heavy use 2 days.

I hate S Elop for what he did to Symbian.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-05-21 15:35 from tUX$ - click to readThat's the Wonder and marvelous of Symbian. Also don't forget that your N8 can last 1,5 - 2 days with only 1200 mAh battery.

Have you ever imagine how long will your N8 last if Nokia gave your N8 a 3200 mAh battery..? I guess you can leave your powerbank and charger at home Dude... You don't really need it badly like other brands do. No worries Dude.

Still enjoying after more than 2 years of use.
Upgraded to Xeon custom firmware.
Great photos and movies, top audio quality, very solid and rugged, very stable and lot of great applications.
Pity that Nokia chosed windoze path instead android or developing symbian further.

And my advice to u also is bear in mind that if am asked to choose between an n8,iphone4,5,6 and s3,s4 and whatever,N8 would be chosen by me.
How much do you love n8,i have gotten headache, stomach pain for the dead of mine hahaha you?

> In reply to n8friend @ 2013-05-21 01:49 from N7AT - click to readSo my friend What are you doing at N8 portal...
We are here for share our views and help others...
We are not here to talk about the defects and draw backs
What ever nokia has gave in N8 It is master piece for us..
ANd we do hail nokia n8...Will your IOS or android can give u as much battery back up as N8... I can play that game on n8 for 5-6 hours non stop...Internet surfing is awesome in this phone 12 mega pixel With xenon flash no one is giving this thing today in market leaving nokia 808 pure view.... Where the hell is your ios or and Android now...I Think Nokia N8 gave HDMI port to world in 2010 and Others are giving now....Even USB on the Go feature was introduced by nokia n8.....

One advice for you N8friend better keep ur mouth shut if you dont like n8... go to the plastic toy s4 or stale apple iphone 5 and leave there comments for n8 every one will praise you there...But no one will leave you here... We are N8ians And we do love our phone whatever shoud be in it we are satisfied with it and we use it as our own.... thats the best thing about nokia and N8
