samsung should have allowed both sims to be gsm, placed front camera and an LED flash.

no internal memory,no computer conn. without kies,no gsm internet,no battery life,screen locking,call register,sms all are worst.sau ka sidha ek baat maha bekar phone.i have never seen in my whole life.my suggestion ye model free me bhi mile to mahanga hai.never.never never buy it.maine galti kiya koi ye bhul kabhi na karna

I am using SCH-I589...read all the posts before mine on this blog.Things I am facing are
1. No kies/ PC suite received with mobile not even available anywhere including the Samsung website.
2. CDMA is the prime provider for internet..but found much expensive ..
3. Battery - too poor.
4. Not friendly for bulk SMSing...threded SMS is a bullshit.. ridiculous to find an imortant msg arranged by date or like that..
5. call log not user friendly...
6. No fonts choice... u've to download it.
7. No standby option for calls & msgs when u r playing games on cell.
ANYBODY IF CAN HELP FOR ANY ABOVE PROBLEMS ....PLEASE HELP ON THIS PAGE.

No LED Flesh
Only 3.5 MP
No 3G
Internet only on CDMA will Make big hole in your pocket.
poor Battery back up.
Older android
How much is internal memory????
Decided not to buy this phone.

Samsung should have provided the phone in which we can access internet through 3g or 2g in GSM and only calling for cdma

This phone is worst for those who want to buy a phone in range near by 14000...

i suggest samsung galaxy ace plus and samsung galaxy ace.

wait for price to reduce of both this phone nearly end of june....

That's right. In my country (Indonesia), CDMA operators are the only ones providing true unlimited data plan without FUP at the same or better speed and a lower price than their GSM counterparts.

Do you know the cheapest unlimited 3G is provided by BSNL on CDMA Service? (EVDO Rev A CDMA2000 service)
You will get 3.1Mbps unlimited (no fair usage cheating!)3G service @750 p.m from BSNL.

Samsung ace duos i 589 is a great mobile the only bad thing about it is that u can only use reliance net on it no gsm net available.......................

Samsung is finally taking a step in the right direction with CDMA/GSM smartphones. The signal quality and strength of Reliance CDMA even deep inside apartments is just awesome. GSM can't hold a candle. People like me need to be available on the phone at all times, a combination of CDMA and GSM in smartphones is just perfect.
