sony is my best brand ever, nokia is just popular but sony is the best both in quality and in design, the g705 is really great and i can't wait to grab it, plz can someone tell me when it will arrive netherlands and also the price?.

This Phone Sucks bigtime.. no battery backup.. it is gud only for pic clarity and sound.. no extraordinary features when compared to Nokia.. When i am ready to sell it, it doesnt even sell for half its price..

If you think Sony needs an OS you are wrong. Sony doesn't need OS. Most Nokia using Symbian and most of them having problem with virus. We don't need that, as long as we can still do searching and browsing and having good audio experience. Bravo Sony, I do like this G705 and waiting for the release day in Indonesia

Sony ericsson has the best mobile software without a dedicated OS like WM,LINUX,APPLE& SYMBIAN.but the problem with them is "BRAND INCONSISTENCE". The Father of all is NOKIA.i.e NOKIA E-SERIES,N-SERIES,TABLET(LINUX). This gives the user the next line-up of the mobile they are dedicated to use.but SE lack this simple but clear product mix(wideth,depth).they need to start tagging their product and keep the line-up. you can have a music phone that is purely for business no one against that just like Nokia N80 series it does almost eveything like E-series but nokia never tag it as Business phone unlike e-seies. this is what am talking about.

so if there is the software " document to go " for this phone...yup this phone greatest this year :)
we're not doing doc, but sometimes we need to see our work 'fast'...faster than need to open our computer.
phone is the answer :)

To those people whining about G705 being a java phone with no office document viewer, there are ALREADY available document viewers for Java phones..

it says usa 2100 3g. that means it will work for tmobile usa 3g?

I like the design and the screen size. SE keeps on making 2.0-inch displays. Very inadequate.

Hi, do any of you guys know or have an idea on how much G705 is here in the Philippines? Or in any part of the world - I'll just convert it? Please help me pls pls. And would you recommend me buying this model? Thank you so much guys.

Refined and beautiful design, bunch of features, light and compact.

Great job SE!

Btw. I recently had N81, it's such a horrible-built rubbish that I will NEVER even think of buying any Nokia again.
