I'm having the phone since June 2011. No major problem so far. UI is not as smooth compared to Iphone or Android phones, but it is something you would expect from a Symbian device. I had problem with the clock sometime; it tends to be late few minutes at times and I had to set it back manually. Browsing the internet is better with Opera Mini rather than it's native browser. I love the qwerty keypad of this phone; typing is a breeze to me. Overall, the whole experience using this phone is ok. Not phone in this world is perfect, not even the Iphone. If you're looking for a decent phone with a combination of touchscreen and qwerty keypad, able to handle most or at least the basic tasks of a modern smartphones around without squeezing your monthly data plan, then this one of the phone worth considering.

its a problamatic phone. better dont buy. i have using for past 6months and having lots of problems.

just sent the phone in service( still on guarantee).
what is really weird is that in November 2011 - one month before the "mistery" started , I had the telephone in service and they made an OS upgrade.
For me is still a mistery what is really happening.
I will see in a week time when I will get the phone back.

Can somebody if encountered this situation :
the telephone made data transmision by itself , sending mails of 2-3 Mb each time, at an interval of 30 - 40 minutes.
In fact in apprx 20 hours it transmited 125 Mb.
I realize only after I received the invoice. During one month it transmited 1 Gb.The average monthly data traffic in the last 6 months was 35-40 Mb.
I cannot explain this annomaly , taking in consideration that the operator cannot explain it also. They told me only that the traffic was registered correctly.
I monitorized the traffic in the mentioned 20hours after I saw the huge invoice ,and I was not accessing the internet during all this time.
If somebody encoutered a similar situation ,please share the info.

And "sam" sorry i have to say but dont foolish the other ppl's the screen touch is perfect about the OS i didnt had problems too soo i dont know for what u r talkin about.. and pls dont comment negative about phone which u never owned it

poor phone. do not use it . i am a die hard fan of sony erricson but this phone is horrible and it has let me down in its horrifying touch screen and OS.the only thing which is the best is its clarity and the aesthetics of the phone.

On the contrary Viper this is for you! I've read the review of this device and I'd noticed it being mentioned that this phone doesn't have smart dial, I can live with anything but Smart Dial (being a business user its important for me!) have your managed to pub a cooked S60 ROM and get the Smart Dial to work on your device.

Most annoying thing is the pocket dialing which it seems prone to doing, and also a bit of lagging sometimes, esp when switching from vertical to horizontal orientation, but it's really not THAT bad. Never had any issues with the keyboard, and I have average size fingers (for a girl). Also I like the camera a lot, it delivers good quality, crisp images. And the touch screen is fine for me, works well.
