> In reply to jack @ 2008-10-14 20:06 from qD0N - click to readyou need the data package on your phone to use the google maps feature. And to my knowledge htc told me that the phone will not work without the g1 data add-on, but i have the blackberry bis add-on on my account and it works just fine.

There is one question most people are not asking, I've seen it on my coworkers G1 but not on mine, MR. C how is your battery life doing? Are you taking the proper steps in charging?

The regular 2 hour charge then only charging once the battery is almost depleted. Also not using the phone during charging?

why hasn't it got flash.secondly is it having optical mouse and auto focus like the samsung innovate. And what is the highest size of memory it can take.If it is below 16 gigabyte or 8 GB then it has failed in that area. Then finally is it loud when playing music on it.

The phone DOES notify you of new messages, including email. An '@' sign appear in the update bar to that effect.

It shows all the recipients of text messages in a window.
When you select the recipient name, it shows the conversation thread with sent times of each message.

> In reply to Mike K. @ 2008-10-12 09:54 from j7J0 - click to readextremely easy to use the interface and the touch work better than the iphone. resolution is amazing. i pulled a picture straight from the web at set it as wallpaper and it couldnt be any clearer. And as far as web browsing, especially when on the 3g network its exactly as using your desktop at home. The feature that i like the most is the street view for google maps, amazing clear and very fun to play with.
