I have used the G1 and own one. The phone is fast, and beautiful. For all those wondering how to get your hands on one, you really do have to wait, only a handful of people can get it and it's not through an open source. The phone is worth the wait!

> In reply to t-mobiler @ 2008-10-14 01:05 from jrY$ - click to readIm a huge blackberry user and my title is actually blackberry specialist. the emails do not compare at all. It is not push email. the phone does not notify you that you have a new email and it very difficult to put your pop email on it. the phone is mainly for fun. it really depends on the user, i just have both the curve and the g1. I would tell anyone that if you want a phone for email blackberry is always your best bet.

Yes it has speaker phone and the usb is just like most other htc phones and the razr and blackberry both fit. the phones works great and is incredibly fast. the browsing is one of a kind and performs as if it were a desktop. Some of the applications of the phone are pretty sweet as well like the shopsavy bar code app. Its pretty cool being able to say im one of about 1000 or so who has one :)

By 2020, Google would already take over the internet world. Forget Apple or Microsoft. When we look back at 2008 about a dozen years from now, we could always claim we there since the beginning.... The G1.

Again, 1.5M sold on preoders alone is just insane! Made us goggle on the Google phone. Even if it isn't the prettiest, it's the OS made us goo-goo eyed on its potential. Everybody is interested. Hackers, pirates, Sidekick fans, Google fans, etc. G1 is only Episode 1.

NEVER UNDERSETIMATE THE POWER OF THE DORK SIDE! Count me Obi-Wan Kenobi. Google is my only hope.

1.5M sold on preorder alone and its not even the prettiest phone ever or has a single ad on TV! Hot seller this Christmas! Buy two, sell the other on eBay to payoff the other. G1 is selling out fast! Take advantage from the laws of supply and demand. Android is the next generation...

yes it can sync with your outlook contacts. the phone is synced through gmail and you have to have a gmail account to use the phone. export your files from outlook and import them into gmail. The contacts will update on your phone automatically no need for a usb connection.

i managed to get my hands on it this andriod platform is a whole new generation. Needless to say it can easily be called an iphone killer. One main flaw just with most htc products is the corporate email, but i guarentee by launch date there will be an application to do so. Comming from a blackberry user its easy to say this phone is going to turn t-mobile around.
