This is a great phone. I love the design the battery life is pretty good as well. This phone is 4G capable so the internet speeds are really fast in the areas that 4G has been set up. One negative comment that i would have to say is that i dont like how much the phone weighs...

> In reply to francomur99 @ 2010-10-12 14:29 from nuee - click to readRooting is over rated these days. Really, why would you want to ruin a perfectly functional phone that does 20 times the things phones did just a couple of years ago? I could see back then but jeesh, but these phones are really spectacular now! Compare a rooted G1 to a stock G2 and I bet the G2 wins every benchmark and prolly adds a few new ones.

Ok so I just got this phone and I love it! Is one of the fastest phone you can get right now as well. I've only had it for a day but it's very impressive. This is my first android phone so what is amazing to me might notbe to other people. However even though the processor is only 800it's faster then the galaxy phones I looked at the G2 and and the Vibrant side by side.the screen isn't as good but the Super AMOLRD it the best thing out right now. I highly recommend getting this phone.

-sent by using my new G2.

The G2:A very nice device, unfortunately cannot be rooted, that's way the Motorola Milestone2 is better or the Epic 4G......we have to wait xda developers and pray that it will be cracked...until then I'a afraid I have to choose another device. So sad

Does it matter if this phone is like the galaxy s . ?
At least its the simple phone that you can use .
Its better than nothing & its an android '
There's only one thing that is good about this phone its just the speakers .
Its between the new tmobile mytouch & this one .(:

> In reply to emobile @ 2010-10-01 06:03 from jAI5 - click to readNo it does not the Epic 4g has a much better keyboard and slider then the g2 the hinge is terrible on the g2 report already came in of it breaking in half. The Epic has a 5 row spacious keyboard with all the menu buttons the g2 has a crammed 4 row keyboard. The Epic is WAY BETTER than the g2 it has no chip to prevent rooting btw and plays games like no other with a 16gb sd card and front facing camera

Its a S-LCD, I dont think they would change the screen type just because its being sold to another country....then again I could be completely wrong.

> In reply to ConnieL429 @ 2010-10-07 20:29 from Tccv - click to read800mhz snapdragon but faster than the previous generation 1ghz snapdragon processor because it's the newest generation and MADE for this phone. It works well with the rest of its parts. Benchmark test shows that it's faster than all the other 1ghz snapdragon phones (iPhone, Nexus1). Don't be fooled by numbers, it's an awesome phone and wonderfully put together.

> In reply to Rip @ 2010-09-09 17:05 from G2GS - click to readSure seems to be a lot of people talking about stuff they know nothing about. Many of you are fixated on the whole 800mhz thing. Well, I have one and I can tell you it is every bit as fast as anything else out there but of course that obviously depends on where you're at. As for the battery, my phone has been off the charger for 8 hrs now and I have yet to lose a bar. The keyboard layout is excellent and the feel is great in the hand. Those of you who do NOT have this phone need to keep your uninformed opnions to yourself until you can base them on something besides looking at a picture

Folks, Finally T-Mobile and Google have done it..G2 is Awesome and looks like G2 will be sold out very soon...I am an aggressive Smart Phone user and use an iPhone and Android since they existed...I think G2 is the beginning for a new Era for T-mobile, Google & HTC...G2 has addressed a lot of issues that One looks for in a Smart Phone...I am glad this will be a new beginning. GO GET A G2 if you need a good smart phone !

this phone supposed to be release on Oct. 6 but i'm currently using it now.

This phone is everything you ever need, not to mention about the internet speed; it ridiculously fast.

even though the CPU is only 800MHz but the phone is function has no intention to slow down.

One thing - disappointing speakers!!!! volume is very poor even when you max it out. when switch to speaker phone, it sound like a "cricket".

EVERYTHING else is GREAT!!!!!!

> In reply to stan @ 2010-09-26 03:50 from RbqA - click to readunfortunately, T-mobile did remove tethering on the G2. I went to the HTC training and that was the first question i asked. The keyboard is much better than Galaxy S. It has a Z hinge. when u flip out the keyboard, it is on the same level as the screen - flat.
