had the g2 sent it bak 2 t-mobile and got the samsung jet instead better than the g2 ... the ONLY thing i miss on the g2 was the android market apps and games ect other than that the jet kills the g2 ... in my opinion the g2 like most HTC fones the shell body has a cheap build feel 2 it ... cheap plasic doesnt feel a strong outer casing at all ... i kept hitting the trackball when i wasnt intending 2 and also the same with the off button ( far rite 1 ) .... over hyped is the g2 yeah android is the nuts ( wish it was in the samsung jet ) but overall the jet is a better fone period !!!!!

sorted the apps store problem, there are 2 content filters on te new htc g2 which have to be unlocked but you need to do a factory reset to get the apps store connection to work. no problems now

had the phone back to tmobilewho said there are 2 filter locks on this phone and only 1 had been turned off, said to give it 24 hrs after 2nd filter lock was removed but stil no joy in connecting to the apps store.

Finally! The G2 has everything that G1 could've had. There are some minor things missing, but know one can hit the ball perfectly. Besides, this is a great piece of technology here. T-Mobile will be proud (I will soon =D)

If you have not done so, unfortunately you will have to FACTORY RESET the phone and format/erase everything. Make sure you back up your imp files and contacts before you do so. Hopefully, it should help.

Is anybody else on TMobile having an issue with connecting to the market place, everything else works fine but keep getting a error message when trying to sign into market place. phones going back to TMobile today to get looked at. They couldn't get it to work in the shop on the day of purchase and said it was a poor 3g signal
