Finally! The G2 has everything that G1 could've had. There are some minor things missing, but know one can hit the ball perfectly. Besides, this is a great piece of technology here. T-Mobile will be proud (I will soon =D)

If you have not done so, unfortunately you will have to FACTORY RESET the phone and format/erase everything. Make sure you back up your imp files and contacts before you do so. Hopefully, it should help.

Is anybody else on TMobile having an issue with connecting to the market place, everything else works fine but keep getting a error message when trying to sign into market place. phones going back to TMobile today to get looked at. They couldn't get it to work in the shop on the day of purchase and said it was a poor 3g signal

the g2 has all the features that make it the g2 but is missing one thing, a keyboard and flash for the camera.

Remember this particular model is available in the UK, and Europe, no T-Mobile USA. The HTC "Magic" is for the US launch. Just FYI

> In reply to mick @ 2009-08-03 14:25 from m5tY - click to readI found a very useful free ap on the android market that shows the levels of power left. In fact is pretty useful for a few other things as well.
These android phones are light on a few essential apps but there are plenty of apps out there to customise the phone. That's what's so great about this phone being android.
Anther extremely useful app is the app killer. this lists all your programs running. With one touch the program is closed. If you don't monitor this the phone just keeps loading new programs until the phone becomes laggy.

it is the Hero with a simlock of T-Mobile and probally a bit different software.
For example the browser is called Web N' Walk instead of Opera or Browser.

had my g2 touch 4 3days now and found a couple of faults ... the phone doesnt recognise ALL my mp3 songs on my 4gb mSD card and now my LED light has decided it doesnt want 2 worm no more ... so when the fone is off i have no way of knowing if my batt is fully charged... deleting music files ON the phone its self is a no no , which i find odd ... and i wish HTC wud put a full complete instructions manual in the box , instead of the g2 touch t-mobile on screen manual , which i hate ... dnt get me wrong besides the issues i seem 2 hav with the g2 now , which weren't there yesterday its a very good USER FRIENDLY handset .... gonna call t-mobile now and ask 4 a brand new replacement , or do i go 4 the samsung pixon 12 on t-mobile .... any1 no when its out on t-mobile uk plzzzz
