I used this phone for one week, the battery was completely crap, it holded charge for less then 24 hours (WiFi-off, GPS-off, download - off) the only one call (2 minutes) for 24 h. Description informs about 600 hours STANDBY, there is not even 10% of that time. I've returned it.

I got this phone because I was saying "GOODBYE" to AT&T, and "HELLO" to T-Mobile. So far, so good. Easy to use, plenty of apps, and I found T-Mobile's customer service better to deal with (They gave me a good deal for this phone-FREE. Do yourselves a favor, DUMP AT&T.

Ive had the mytouch 3G For about 5 weeks now...nd im 12 years of age but overall is a little bit diffucult to work in all whenot having an instruction manual..nd I have 2 say it qoes very slow plus u have 2 charge it about every 2 hours..but I, like it for now.

I write applications for smart phones and like the HTC mytouch very well. Reliable and stable.

Sometime it seems slow but I don't know if it is attributable to network congestion etc or not.

I have an iphone and pharos and find problems with all.

I've had this phone for 8 months now. The first one I had borked itself (system failure) so I got a replacement. The phone is slow as hell. I always only ever have 35 mbs of free memory, and that's after using a task killer. I kinda wish I had held out and got a Nexus one instead or something but now I'll just wait for a super android phone instead. Now that I'm familiar with processor speeds and all that jazz I can safely say I'd never buy a phone like this again.

P.S. The camera is a piece of crap. It takes photos like a phone I used in 2005.

When is the mytouch going to get an update? Any rumors out there that confirm a 2.0 w/ sense ui or 2.1 update? Any info will be appreciated! =D

Its WAYYYY better than the orginal home firmware. You can watch movies and use it as a modem for your computer. This phone can do alot of things. Hacks are available

hi people, i use an iPhone 3g 8gig on t-mobile...obviously 3g isn't supported.
i have an opportunity to trade the iPhone for a 1st gen myToch.
will i regret trading? the iPhone rules...but at edge speeds the net experiance can be disappointing. any advice available out there?

I would suggest that you read the user guide that came with your phone or ask for help before posting blanket comments. I would be glad to help you with using your android OS phone. and also the google voice navigation works flawless on the mytouch or any other android phone. Just like anything else we will run into problems when trying something that is new. My opinion is that the iphone and all the android OS phones are great phones just give it some time to get use to.

i recently bought the mytouch and what i have realize over the two week period of exploiting this device...it was not up to par...reason being is that pictures that i took from my camera can not be save to the sd memory card and also the phone does not want to snyc with my computer and last thing the maps app from google crashes whenever i try to get directions...overall my personal experience with this phone would only be a 3 star...
