i have sidekick 3 vsw from me friend in us, i use in indonesia, i try to registration about 2 day (mode on), after 3 day i saw my phone off till now about 1 mount my phone still off why? anybody can help me please????

this phone is terrible my dad bought it unlocked for me brand new. the screen is to dark. the phone freezes all the time so when you have to go to shut the phone off, it doesnt work causing you to have to take out the battery which deletes everything you have stored on your phone. i dont recommend this phone at all.

Will sidekick 3 work with centennial wireless?
I know that this phone is a tri-band phone. Centennial wireless is a quad-band network. Their minimum required is both 850 and 1900(dual-band) But will it work with centennial wireless?

Well ive had the sidekick 3 for about a month now.
mines unlocked, so i cant send MMS,or use email, instant messaging or the internet browser, so im pretty much left with a plain sidekick 3.
it does delete everything though when the battery is removed, so all my pictures are saved to my memory card. but swapping sim cards between phones has become a hassle, the phone resets the time/date, deletes contacts and anything saved to the phones memory, but if your music etc is saved to the memory card everything should be okay.
Anyway, i only got the phone because of the swivel screen and the QWERTY keyboard.
The Camera is below average, the flash is useless during nightime, unless you take the picture about 30cm away from the subject.
The Plastic keys Makes it easier to text and are nicer than the sidekick 2's keyboard.
Call Quality is ok and the battery isnt great either, but better than the last mobile i had, and its pretty precise too, if you go to Settings>Battery & Display it tells you the percentage of battery left.
You Can download themes for the sikekick 3 from sk3themes.com. letting you personalize the phone to the way you want to, to a certain degree though.
Has no phone lock, so if the phone gets stolen the person can just throw away the sim card and use their own without having to enter any pin's or anything?
Mine seems to freeze on me quite often, but ive dropped it a few times on the conrete already, so that may be the cause.
I Guess overall the mobile okay, it gets a bit boring after a while. but yea.

Terrible Terrible Terrible phone. Id reccomend a gravity over this because you dont have to pay for the data package and it has a full keyboard. Why would you make a phone that if it losses power you lose everything?!? Goodbye contacts, music, pictures, call log, messages, and everything else, plus you cant bluetooth any other device. The G1 or any blackberry is better than a sidekick simply because of initial price and the price to run it is the same, However you get a whole lot more. Grade F-
