At first a little confused / dissatisfied. Now that I'm using it more and more fimilar, think it's a great phone if one understands what it is.
Afterall,it's not a i-phone, nor does it cost as much. T-Mobile Customer Service /Tech Support were great to walk me through and answer my questions.
Like it a lot

crappy phone. Got from Wind in Canada.
keyboard locks while you're talking...so to enter an extension, or "1" for messages for instance you have to press the unlock button, then he the keyboard key to display a keyboard, then usually it types an asterisk by mistake so you have to delete that then press whatever you need to move forward with your call.
Voice quality is not great...etc.
USB link to computer but only Windows, not Mac.
It's going back to store this weekend.

The tap is a good phone for the price. I've had the phone for a week and trust me I have put it thru its paces. A few things that coulbe better:
- Be able to listen to the FM radio with Bluetooth.
- Turn off screen lock when making a call.
- Flash for camera.
So far that is all I can come up with. I am real happy with this phone

Music ic high quality and video is good too. Really if you want to know more why not call or visit the carrier

The default web browser SUCKS. Immediately go to www.m.opera.com and download Opera Mini 5 beta 2, it is infinitely better and runs fast. You can install it right on the phone. The website will say your phone is not supported, but install it anyway. Web browsing went from frustrating and slow to comparable to the iPhone.

For the price, this phone is quite nice. Quadband GSM with dualband UMTS means this phone will work anywhere (it seems to be unlocked I haven't tried, but the menu options for networks makes me think it is).

I moved to this phone from a first gen iPhone, and while the interface isn't as good the features of the phone make up for it. It took some patience to learn the nuances of the touch screen. The iPhone is designed to be used with the pads of your fingers while this is more of a traditional stylus screen. Using your fingernails will make your life much easier.

As long as your aren't expecting to have an Android or iPhone, this phone is great.

Yes, this phone is know as the Huawei U7519 in Canada.

Can anyone give an actual review of the phone and it's features?

-Is the touch-screen accurate? (Esp with email & text?)
-Is the touch-screen T9 or QWERTY?
-Is there a way to lock the screen from randomly selecting an app while in your pocket/purse?
-How easy is the menu to navigate through, and how many standard applications does it come with?
-Is the OS glitchy? Does it take a long time to load the apps? (Examples... Email? Video? Music?)
-How is the quality of the music player?
-How is the quality of video playback?
-Does the camera have auto-focus?
-Is it CDMA, HSDPA, or GSM?

These are important things to know before buying it. Can anyone answer these questions?
Thanks.
