As far as i found in the Toshiba 904t it is fine though lack of ease in usage. I got problems with MP3 Playback. It was saying that it cannot playback MP3's inserted by beat engine. To solve the MP3 playback problem in toshiba 904t my suggession is below.
Please confirm your phone number in Beat Engine software. When inserting MP3 it encrypts the mp3 by the phone number. The number must be in the format as stored in the USIM. I am sure you shall not get any more problem with MP3 playback.
I found lots of people asked about setting MP3 as ringtone. It is not possible to set MP3 in Toshiba 904t as ringtone there as far as I found.

if you have your beat engine, click tools then click settings then add this number+1804xxxxxx the "X" is your phone number then that's all... enjoy your listening....

if you want to put ringtone, convert all your files to .AMR...it'll work...

I also made sure that my phone numbr is typed in correctly in the beat engine box' software tool and the size of the mp3 is less than 192 (it's actually 182kbps..) still "This file cannot be played" error shows... Someone please help!!

The phone is really good. I have nothing against it...
The only thing that i am having problem with the phone is about it's mp3 player.
I have the software and I can convert files to a file that will be supported by the phone but I can't still play it on my phone..
Can someone please help?

if u want hear mp3 or mp4 in toshiba 904t,use beat engine software and if u want convert mp3 to mmf or smaf u can use wav to smaf software.

WARNING - MP3 player is *not* Mac compatible. Extremely annoying as this is a necessary second function of a phone for me. Have searched websites for a workaround. Only one so far seems to be running XP on my Mac.. not an option! I'm not going to install an entirely different O/S just to copy some MP3s to my phone!! The phone won't recognise them if I drag & drop... they must be transferred using the software (I tried placing them in a number of different folders). Please provide some Mac support Toshiba!!!

i got the phone about a week ago i still cant figure out the ez way to text and contact search by typing leter, i wonder whos is idea or software manufactor design this phone..only nice about this phone is 3.15mp camera, otherwise i would love to flash it in my smallest room in my house,
