toshiba g710 is very bad mobile.i have toshiba g710 mobile its key board is not working now i am where repair this mobile .toshiba also refused for repair .i am now in qatar here is no service center of toshiba .if any body buy this mobile then my opinion is that you not buy this mobile you buy nokia mobiles it is v v v v good company

i bought this phone,

this phone is pretty much slow and have no wifi, so if u're looking for a serious business phone/pda.... don't buy this phone.

but for casual user like me, its a good phone, it comes with a nice trackball, keypad is lack of originality but it works fine, it has a nice feel,and the gps works pretty well, as for the camera i didn't use much of its camera the camera response is very slow, if u want great camera function the phone doesn't make the cut. i'm quite so - so on the phone design is not that sharp .... compare the other

so far it give what i want, i can tolerate the speed issue, for is a good phone not great.

Does anyone know if this Phone is any good for business use to check emails? I need to know as my boyfriend wants a new phone, and i'm thinking about getting him this phone as a surprise birthday present.

I have one and it's awesome. Mine's Vodafone branded (VDA GPS), wich is the same with this one, except de keyboard, wich it's all black. I recommend it !

Pros:
* Price
* Windows Mobile 6
* Scroll wheel like Blackberry
* Full keyboard
* Not too big, fits well in the hand (thin!)
* Very nice rubber finish

Cons:
* No wifi
* No 3G
* No radio
* Only 65k colors

My opinion: this is one of the cheapest phones with Windows Mobile & full keyboard. If you can live without the technical shortcomings it is a good choice.

Whoa, this looks like a straight rip of the Blackberry design, right down to the scroll wheel and even the enter button..
Wonder what Blackberry think of this?
