I bought this PDA during Easter and considering price/performance I am happy with it. I only have one big probleme: "ringer/speaker volume very low" can any one help me to solve this problem?.

System volume is significantly lower than that of an htc device (like tytn II, nonetheless the g810 seem to be fine. Although I am a loyal htc user, I was intrigued to buy it (as a second pda phone, yet I get to use it daily).

I got my phone a couple of weeks back and I love it. The phone works well and the SBP shell works really well. My only complaint is that I get alot of complaints about the way I sound on it.

I am wondering if other people are this problem and if there is a way to fix it. I am being told I sound distant and like I am on a speaker phone.

by the way I install also OPERA browser 9.5.... and install flash 7 mobile... what an exciting experience... all you can download it in torrent, just search opera 9.5 qvga version... flash 7 mobile is in adobe web site....

interesting. I know this phone works maximum 4 GB memor card. if it works with 32 GB memory card thats very fantastic news

I bought this phone last december and I am satisfied... battery life... is ok it will take a day with bluetooth on and 3g on... just make sure only you select the TURN OFF option in battery settings when not used for certain time..... to go in standby mode....

right now I install youtube and it is amazing... even I installed Microsoft windows Command... When Im driving I just press my bluetoth call headset and make a command... like making a call... and it is very useful... trust me... espesially when you are driving......

this phone also has copilot live pre installed and licensed when I bought and it is very useful.... it gives you directions while driving although the screen is not big enought though....

But all in all I like it... I just would like to request from toshiba to have a constant upgrade or support on their products.... like ROM upgrades.... software downloads store.... and hope that they will concentrate on windows mobile system only.... not like other brands... that have winddows then sybiam OS.....

Since my last post, the handset's touchscreen has locked up two or three times a day.
I found that uninstaling the SPB Mobil Shell seems to have cured the problem as well as prolonged the battery life a lot !!
Toshiba have obviously not really tested things enough, so one of the main hyped things about this device has to be uninstalled for it to work properly.
A shame, but not too big a deal for me.

I bought G810 in mid january, and for about three days the battery wont charge. It worked like a charm before. No matter how long it will charge (AC) it stays at 1% capacity. If I pull out the AC plug, it shuts off imediatly. I tried hard reset, but no luck. I think either the battery or the charging circuits are faulty. I'll just have to wait for the service repairs...

First off, just a correction of the specifications.
*There is a speakerphone.
This handset can take HCSD of at least 8GB.

I've had this phone for about a day now and performance wise it's fast ! opening apps takes 1-2 seconds.
It has SPB shell.
There is no chopiness when playing MP4 movies.
One of the most stylish designed Windows Mobile handsets I've seen.
Has 3G,HSDPA,HSUPA,EDGE,WIFI.
Battery is pretty good.

Expansys.com has them for £199.
