if you want the best pda phone with gps you need to wait for htc kaiser aka t-mobile vario III... the only drawback of kaiser is the classic qvga screen.

Too thick at 22/23mm, and bad shutter lag according PDA mag review. Also no GPS.
Glofiish X800 looks better on most counts - pity the X500+ isn't 3G

1GB Rom is okay but...256 ram? Are you crazy? Yeah, what else? A battery lasting a lifetime?
Some people just ask and ask without real need.
How come it has "only" 40mb of ram? It has got 128 mb of Ram, are you saying that windows mobile 6 and drivers take up to 78mb or ram? Are you crazy too?

Got the processor speed : 520MHz. Ok that's fine for now but they really stuffed it by giving it ONLY 40MB of RAM. DAMN, it's going to end up running out of memery if you start loading it up and opening app after app without shutting them down. That's like sending Amir Khan in with Tyson for 12 rounds...I really wanted this PDA for the PDA stuff.

Can anybody tell me the type and speed of the processor. If it is capable of doing VoIP then does it have to be a pretty quick processor or does it not matter? 1GB ROM and 256MB RAM minimum and GPS would have been pretty much ideal for me for at least a year, but then again it does give us the WVGA screen. No doubt there will be other 'must have' features coming out next year or later this year.

USB 1.1 does knock me back a bit but it does say you can use USB keys, albeit at snails pace i suppose. Can't have everything, is there any other PPC better specced out there? If there is i'd like to know before i order a Tosh G900.

Compared to the TyTN this is a Gozilla spec PPC. Surfing the net on WiFi and reading MS Apps should be a doddle on the Tosh G900.
Hello Tosh, got a TOSHIBA?

I am waiting for this one to come out. I'll get the Nokia 6500 slider for phone calls when it comes out and a medium end digital camera for pictures. I know that it's a lot of gadgets but this Toshiba has a heck of a screen, 800x480. HTC are you watching??? Beat this on spec and size and you have a customer in me. I lusted after the N95 but then fell out of love with it. Be serious Nokia lovers the N95 has great spec but i hear that the camera isn't true 5MP and battery life "sux" besides i have found Pocket PC's easier to live with and for data handling. PS i also have an N80 and MDA Compact (love it, well below spec these days though and need WiFi).

How does this compare to the Tytn? They seem to have pretty similar specs, except the screen res. Are there any compatibility issue with having a screen this size? Ed.

The one killer problem with the N95 which puts me right off. is the battery life... anyphone you have to charge up daily or even every other day is pointless!!!!

N95 beat G900 on GPS,
But G900 beat N95 on qwerty keyboard, fingerprint recognition, display resolution.
