> In reply to Mobilemaster @ 2009-04-14 22:58 from Lax1 - click to readWindows Mobile ending in 2012!?!?!? I dont think so... Win Mo is FAR superior to any other mobile OS on the market at present. I heard rumours that the entire world is going to end in 2012 but i dont think that is going to happen either.

I have great news for Toshiba fans!!!!!

I saw the next smartphones, the TG-02, TG-03, K1, K2 and L01 smartphones! The TG-02 has 4.1 inch WVGA screen, is waterproof, has 1 GHZ Procesor, 3.2 MP camera, Windows Mobile 6.5
The TG-03 will have Windows Mobile 6.5, 4.1 inch screen, 1 GHZ Processor, the camera will be 5 Megapixel(is true).
The K1 will have QWERTY keypad, 1GHZ Procesor, 4.1 inch screen, Windows Mobile 6.5, 3.2 Megapixel camera.
The K2 model will have 3.5 inch screen, 1 GHZ Procesor, 3.2 Megapixel cam.Windows Mobile 6.5.
And the L01 is the most interesting phone, coz will have 7 inch screen, 1 GHZ Procesor, Windows Mobile 6.5!

I'm glad you agree with the mega pixel statement, I agree with it too... everybody keeps complaining that cameras on phones are stuck at around the 3 mega pixel mark.. they think that somehow means a useless photo.. when what it really means is size of photo.. and a photo taken with a 3.5mp camera is all the size you are ever going to need or want really on a phone.. If you want more, but a dedicated camera becuase you are pbviously a professional photographer :) Cannot wait for this phone, very excited.. those sites doing a VS iphone against this make me laugh so loud.. how can you compare?? this is a Ferrari and an iphone is a mini cooper, there is nothing to compare, this beats it hands down, not even a contest to be had.. quit with the iphone comparisons.. it's getting very pathetic now.

Actually I agree with this about 2-3 mega pixels vs. 8 mega pixels few comments before.
Anyway waiting for this phone a lot!

Toshiba should run Google Android OS on this device instead of Microsoft Windows CE.

what are you going to do with a camera on a phone that is say 8 mega pixels? for a start.. that would be images 2000x4000 in size.. far too big to view on a mobile screen or a monitor really.. far too big to be sending in a message or an email.. plus it takes up a massive amount of space on your phone.. most people take 1600x1200 which is a good size photo and that is about 2-3 mega pixels.. it can't be more than that, that's what it is.. people just don't understand what they are talking about. What some people don't understand is this.. they have a 12mp camera.. they take a photo with it that is 1600x1200.. that is not a 12mp photo.. that is only using 2-3 mega pixels..

The best mobile hardware so far, but how about making it in Android flavor? I have had very disheartening experience with Windows Mobile, and cannot wait to lose it for good.
If this thing does not ship with Android or an option to install it, I will have to look elsewhere.

In China they still prefer hand writing recognition.
